Chapter 71

Louise's POV

My siblings left for camp yesterday so I'm bored in the house. I surfed earlier today but the beach got way too crowded with drunk college students so I left. Dad is home doing work in his study.

I decide to text Lucy to see what he's doing. He responded almost immediately

Lucy 🫦

I'm watching Jack Jack for the day and he's been annoying the Fuck out of me so I'm taking him to the batting cages
I can pick you up if your dad let's me

I'll ask

I got off the couch and went upstairs to dad's office. After he told me come in, I went inside and slumped on his couch

"What's up Louise?" he asked

"Can I hang out with Lucien and Jack Jack today. I promise we won't do anything inappropriate. We won't be alone at any point either. After he picks me up we'll go straight to the batting cages, maybe eat, then he'll drop me off home." I rushed out

"No"

"Please dad I'm so bored in the house and I can't surf."

"No crop tops or shorts."

"But it's hot!"

"Take it or leave it." He shrugged

"Don't you trust me?" I frowned

"Louise I was a young guy before. I know how it goes. Just because I'm being protective and cautious doesn't mean I don't trust you."

"I understand. It just sucks." I pouted

"Go get ready and send your boyfriend up to talk with me when he gets here." he said with a smirk

"Dad, mom says you can't kill him."

"I won't!" he replied sounding offended

"Just making sure."

I went to my room and texted Lucy that I was allowed to go

I got dressed in blue ripped jeans and a white oversized graphic tee. I put on white sneakers and went downstairs to chill until Lucy got here

*Ding dong*

"ITS OPEN!" my lazy ass yelled from the couch

I heard the knob turn and he entered with a very enthusiastic Jack Jack

"Hey beautiful! Is your mom home?"

"Sorry, she's at work right now."

"Can I call her on your phone?"

"Knock yourself out." I handed Jack my phone

"He was so excited to see her." Lucy laughed

"Speaking of excited, my dad is excited to have a chat with you upstairs in his office."

I saw all the color drain from his face

"Its been almost two weeks. He's still not over the whole bulge pic thing?"

"Not at all so let's clear the air in my office." dad interrupted

"Well Jackie really wants to go to the batting cages so I don't think I should keep him waiting. Maybe next time." Lucy said while hiding behind me

"It's okay Lucien I'll just talk to Adriana." Jack Jack said without realizing the death sentence he gave his cousin

"Looks like that's sorted out. Follow me." dad smirked
