Chapter 50

Lucien's POV

"Why are you here?" Lucas asked me

"It's raining a lot and my cousin doesn't want me driving."

"That doesn't answer why you're here."

"Yes it does."

Is he good? Just put 2 and 2 together

"Raphael asked mom to let him stay here. Dad says Lucien can stay in our room as long as we don't behave inappropriately." Louise explained

"Why couldn't you just say that?" he asked

"I didn't realize I had to be so specific. I figured you'd like most people could infer how the weather has me sleeping over." I responded annoyed

He got up and walked away

"Lucas! He doesn't know!" Princess called out as he walked away

"I'll go talk to him, while you explain to your boyfriend what he just did." Liam said

"What the fuck is going on? How am I the asshole?"

"Lucas has autism. It looks different in everyone but for him it makes it hard for him to infer. You have to be very specific or else he won't understand. He gets our type of sarcasm cause we explained it to him but with other people he's very literal."

"Fuck, I'm so sorry."

Now I felt like shit

"Yeah I thought you'd notice there was something off with him. He's monotone, expressionless, and literal."

"I've never met someone with autism. I thought it would be more obvious."

"While I acknowledge your ignorance I'm not the one that can forgive you. You hurt Lucas's feelings so you have to talk to him."

"Where is he?" I asked

"In the basement. I'll take you down."

I followed behind her to the basement. There were a couple locked doors which I assumed were mafia related

"You guys have a gym?" I asked

"Yeah but it's Londyn's whenever it's track season." she rolled her eyes

I peaked inside and saw her and some fit middle aged guy

"I'm tired."

"Faster!" he ordered and increased her speed on the treadmill

"Louise she's-"

"Just leave her be. We have to make sure Lucas is okay." she interrupted me

"But your sister isn't okay. Stop prioritizing one sibling over the other because you're jealous."

"Excuse me! No one told her to do track. She hates it but wants dad's attention. Whatever is going on is on her. How am I the bad guy?"

"Why are there bad guys and victims? You're fucking siblings."

"Why are you suddenly so interested in my sister? Is something going on?"

"You need to calm down. Just because I call you out on your bullshit with your sister doesn't mean I'm into her or something like that. I'm your boyfriend not your yes man. If that was Sophie I'd want someone to tell me. But if you don't care about your sister's well-being I won't tell you."

She opened her mouth to speak but instead stormed off

I decided to go see if Londyn was alright

She was now on the ground panting while this guy was yelling at her
