She chuckled because she didn't believe me but I swear that she deserves something that doesn't make her insane and I will give it to her whether its the last thing I do or not. Her eyes met mine as we slowly fell asleep together in the warmth of our opposing souls. Right when she was about to knock out, I kissed her nose and brought us closer together. I was not in love with her, but maybe I could to make her sane.

She was my antidote and now I will be hers.

My dream was stopped when I felt something different. Even though I woke up cold, I wasn't fully awake. The temperature was warmer than when I fell asleep last night but it was colder than when Jade and I were together. When I heard booming voices arguing I jolted up since Jade wasn't with me. Did they find out about Jade escaping?

"She will never learn!" Brian yelled gripping Jades arm tightly. She had an evil yet serious emotion laced in her features. Though her face was still scraped up and her body abused, she acted like nothing bad happened to her. Her strength was showing through at the moment.

"Exactly but we need her for the experiment. I will not kill her." Henry calmly said.

"You almost did." Brian mumbled before furiously yelling again. "Then she will continue to do things-"

"Shut the fuck up or I will kill you and your family!" Henry snapped. "Why do you think she hasn't left yet? If she wanted to she could have freed the other two fucks and ratted us out. But she didn't. She even risked herself not even a day after she got back from the shit I put her through. What does that tell you? Nothing will change so stop arguing about it!"

Brian glared at Henry, obviously angry that he wouldn't cope. "The least we could do is separate them or start with the experiment. We could even upgrade the cell."

"We can't even start yet until Number 004 comes. He should be here soon but shes still swollen in some areas so we have to wait until they decrease, not to mention ... other circumstances. The cell upgrade sounds splendid though. Put her back in and come to my office."

"Fine fine!" He dragged Jade back and slammed the door close so loudly it made us both jump. I never found Jade to be the type to be weak but when the two men weren't in sight, she cried.

"It's okay baby, it's okay." I sat next to her. Well at least as close as next to her as I could with the metal cell separating us.

"Stop it!" she suddenly yelled at me.

"Stop what?"

"You cant make me feel liked. You just can't."

"Why not Jade? You deserve it so much, especially after what happened the last couple of days."

Her hands covered her ears, "Because you will make me feel warm and then I will be attached to you, and once you know I am, you will leave me and I will be damaged."

"I won't leave you."

"That's what everyone says but before they know it they're gone."

"You can't compare me to everyone else. I'm different from them and I can promise you that I won't. Even if it seems like I did when I escaped I would have came back for you. Swear."

"Stop l-"

"You know what I dreamt of one time?" I interrupted her. "That I escaped and got help. For the both of us Jade, they rescued us and we were back in New York. I was suppose to go back with my pathetic father but then I felt empty when I realized you weren't with me. You weren't with me because you left me. It was okay though because even if you do leave me in real life, I'm still going to be there for you."

Jade didn't even mutter a word to me which made me disappointed. I wanted to keep talking to her, so I told her something that I wasn't sure if I should've.

"At the end I killed myself." It seemed like those words quickly wrapped around Jades bruised neck and turn it around to face me with wild eyes. "I don't know why I did it in my dream. I never felt like that before."

That seemed to get Jade to open her mouth to say something. After opening and shutting it a couple times, she searched my face before turning her back to me and wrapping her arms around her legs.

She never responded later that day. We didn't say anything. All day she covered her ears and winced in pain from something. Here and there people would walk by and someone dropped off a bag of food and water. There was enough for Jade and I so I gave her her half. That's when she started talking to me again. It wasn't long before someone came to pull me out and brought me to the medical room I was so familiar with.

"Lay down in the seat." One commanded. I obeyed and made myself comfortable. Might as well be as comfy as possible if they were going to hurt me.

"What are you going to do?" I carelessly asked.

"Giving you a little something." He eyed a needle that was overflowing with a thick clear liquid. "Might want to grip the handles. It's going to hurt so don't move."

My mind ponders why he was nice enough to tell me it was going to hurt. Usually they just do it without telling me anything. Before I can grip the arm rests of the seat, I felt a sting in my neck. Within seconds I felt pain shoot through my body without any warning. It made my body stiffen while my brain feels like sand is being drizzled on to it. For a moment I feel as if I'd been paralyzed but my body soon limps back together and the bothering sensation in my mind stoped buzzing.

"You good?" The man who told me it'd hurt pats my back as I sit back up slowly.

"Not my back man." I groan. He retracts his hand and smiled sheepishly. His dark blue eyes and dull skin make me realize I've barely seen him before. "Uh, what's your name?"

Suddenly he frowned harshly before pulling me off the seat with force. I guess that was not a smart move but it was such an innocent question. His reaction makes me think about the other men's personalties. They all seem to have some type of disorders. Schizophrenia, narcissistic, bipolar, anger, only a few of what I found.

By the end of the walk back, he opened the door and let me in softly before slamming it shut. Jade quickly opened her calmly closed eyes and frowned. She motioned for me to sit close to her so I did.

We talked- a lot. Most of the conversations were pointless but seeing her smile made me bubble with excitement. There were points where she wanted to know what happened in the medical room but I shot her down. I don't know why when I usually would tell her.

When she talked about Number 004, I remembered about Alice. She knew him and he was coming soon. Somehow Jade found out and she had an idea. I was never the type of person to do things like Jade, much less understand those types of ideas, but this made me anxious and energetic. If this would help her I would do it. We went over our plan multiple times; it wasn't tragically bad, just a little devious. It was like that the rest of the day until we decided it was smart for us to sleep a little.

We woke up, not long after, when we heard struggling groans from men.

Jade and I smirked and nodded at each other. Number 004 was here.

also wanted to say that im starting to get a little bad again and it's affecting my life and mind , meaning i am writing a bit slower and it's not as vivid as i wished it'd be. itll have to do for now. maybe comments or votes can help me a little? i don't know.
