Our conversation about people we knew was abruptly stopped when Henry demanded to see me. Again I was internally panicked but externally I was annoyed. Jade looked shocked but I hadn't gotten a long look once I was pushed to follow Henry. We entered a horribly familiar room- the room I was whipped in.

"Come take a seat." he gestured. About 5 men stood in this room. "Would you like any water?"

"Yeah sure." A glass was poured for me.

"So," he said leaning against his desk. I didn't let him finish.

"So what?"

"So," he narrowed his eyes at me intimidatingly, "you and that girl."

My patience was getting the best of me and the fact he hurt Jade multiple times and still hasn't gotten to know her name made me tap my foot, "C'mon! Don't beat around the bush."

"She and you are a couple or what?"

"We haven't made it official yet, I guess if that's what your trying to ask." I lied.

"Then make it official."

"Why?"

He plastered a fake smile, "That's adorable really. I'm just trying to help you out with your relationship."

"Or trying to help yourself get in the way and use it against us?"

"Good idea!" A sarcastic cheer exploded. Henry made a fake routine as if he really were a cheerleader and it lasted a minute or so. "Get the fuck out of here."

A man was escorting me out and it took me everything I had not to go back and stab Henry to death. When I quickly glanced over at a clock in his room, it was 1:25 pm.

Jade was more than relieved when I was back. She tried to check for any cuts or bruises, but was stopped short when she realized I had cut myself intentionally.

"Harry?"

"It was an accident." I said.

"What do you mean accident?"

"I-I don't know. It just happened and I wasn't feeling like myself."

"So you just cut yourself for the hell of it?"

"Jade, I don't know what happened. I just woke up and saw it there. There wasn't anything I could do so I just went back to sleep."

"I don't believe you. You don't just do it without trying to accomplish something sincere."

"But it's true."

She sighed, "don't do it again Harry."

"Harry won't do it." I said childlike.

Jade laughed out loud. After she was done her smile faded and she looked at me. I was confused at her sudden heaviness in mood. She noticed my confusion on it and then she returned to her normal state.

"Sorry, disorder."

"It's fine."

Vincent showed up next to us with tools to finish Jades cell. Henry probably wanted to use our romance as a leverage to spice things up with this so called experiment. Hours passed by and Vincent had finally finished. All that was added was a couple more sharp objects to the sides that were exposed to space.

"Henry!" He screamed.

"What!?"

"I'm done!"

Moments later Henry came out and smiled. "Yes. Now girl get in there and say goodbye to your boy."

"What?" I said a little anxious they knew I had a knife in my pants.

"You heard me. The cell is done and now she will be in there. Just because you guys like each other doesn't mean anything has changed."

"Harry." She looked at me. I don't know what she wanted me to do; I didn't even know how she felt about it.

"It's fine just go. We will be near each other anyway."

Jade complied and waited by the door. She looked a little confused but I don't know what for. Vincent and Henry gave each other a look before laughter erupted from them. "Oh, you got her whipped!"

They unlocked the door and put her in something that she did not seem to want to be in. It's not like we were far away from each other and as long as she didn't jam herself into a wall she would be fine. Maybe she was grown accustomed to being with me when we go to sleep.

"Give me my furniture back."

They both came in and took everything away. It was empty, just like the first couple of days I was here. An eerie and unpleasant feeling bubbled in my stomach.

Hours passed by and more food was given to us. Of course instead of devouring it down, I ate it hazily and slow. My body craved to feel Jades breath on me, or at least touch her warm skin. Unless I wanted Jade to get hurt, I would have to deal with it. Damn Henry for making me accustomed to Jade, only to break our bond. Although I wanted to blame him, I knew it was also my fault. I let myself get attached to Jade.

"Tomorrow will be a busy day." Henry said to everyone. Every person except for Jade and I left.

Thankfully they did not notice a missing knife or tin box. Much less, they didn't suspect me, or anything at all for that matter. That only raised my fear because it was too easy.

"Harry?"

"Yeah?" I snapped out of my mind.

"What do you think they meant when they said tomorrow was going to be busy?"

"Oh shit. I didn't think much of it."

"Harry I'm scared."

"No Jade. You are turning soft, or at least a little bit more vulnerable. Let me go first."

"I'm not letting you."

"Jade please." I sat as close to the wall, and she was sitting as close as she could, but it was still far. This was the only wall we could see each other. Sadly that wall was one of the two that had knives on it.

"You have more to live for. I'm going first and you are not changing it."

I laid down with my hand woven under the cold cell bars that reached into Jades cell. She also did the same but couldn't reach my hand without getting hurt. A long, but soft sigh escaped my lips when I felt a hand come in contact with mine. Blood oozed out of Jades ribs but it wasn't a lot; she'd be fine.

Time ticked by without us saying anything. Thoughts clouded our mind and fogged out everything else. Then I had an idea on how to save us. Save Jade at least. If I were to die then I would die knowing I had fallen in love with someone who changed me in ways unimaginable. A smile spread across my face, "I'm going to save you Jade."
