I sat in my english class with Lucas next to me. He wawriting diligently on his notebook paper, he wasnt taking notes though, he was writing to me. He passed it to me when the teacher turned to write on the board. 

"SO WHATS THE DEAL WITH THE LUNA?"he asked. I sighed. I knew I couldnt get past one day without him wondering what was going on. "NOTHING,' I replied. "HE'S PLAYING BOTH SIDES SO HE SAYS, BUT DONT WORRY I DONT TRUST HIM EITHER AND I DONT THINK MY MOM AND DADS DO EITHER," I gave it back to him. He read it and quickly wrote back. "JUST GIVE ME 10 SECONDS WITH HIM AND HE'LL BE GONE." he said. I rolled my eyes. "HE'S MY MATE LUKE," i handed it back. He closed the cover of the notebook and then he turned in his seat to face me. "You're kidding right?" he snapped. 

Our English teacher turned from her position on the board. "Sorry?" she asked. But Lucas didnt pay attention. "I asked a question Eden," he said. I got up. This day was not going to go good if he blew up in the middle of class, Aunt Charlee would kill me for antagonizing him. 

"Eden where are you going?" two voices asked as I grabbed my things and marched out of the room. Ms. Roberts ignored me as I left knowing that it was easier handled if she didnt say anything. Lucas ran after me. "I cant believe you!" he yelled at me down the hall. We were right outside James' class. I froze. His door was open and his eyes caught mine just as Lucas grabbed my arm and yanked me away. 

"Fucking knock it off okay, Im on your damn side I said I didnt trust him, but he IS my mate and im not going to let you hurt him! Get over that okay! We have more important things to focus on!" I yelled at him as I pulled my arm from his grasp. "Im doing this for you!" he screamed back. James walked out of the room closing his door behind him, I looked through the glass. His freshmen were doing a quiz but were all trying and failing to look out the window to see what was going on. 

"you can back off now," James said as he stepped forward in front of me. "Bad idea,' Lucas said just as I thought it. My body started to burn and then it started to hum. I started to get dizzy then I felt like I was going to shift. I took a step forward and then stumbled hitting my knees. "Eden?" both James and Lucas exclaimed as I fell face first from my kneeling position and then hit the floor and blacked out.

I couldnt decipher where the pleasure was coming from. My eyes rolled back in my head. "Your skin is like satin," he purred in my ear as he ran a finger down my side. He flicked my earlobe with his tongue. I let out a groan and then a moan as he slid between my thighs. I opened my eyes and saw his and then I bit my lip to staunch another moan as he slid a little further...somewhere else. He grabbed my hands and lifted them above my head. and then proceeded to move faster...and faster...and faster until like fireworks I exploded and then gently came down to earth. And then he flipped me over so I was on my stomach. "Wait...what?" I murmured as he pulled my hips up.

I came too and everyone was in the hall. Lucas had James up against the wall and I got up quickly from the ground. "Lucas stop it!" I screamed as I hit him on his back. He dropped his hold on James and James stepped back. "Im not going to fight you because she doesnt want me to, and i would suggest you do the same," James said. Lucas curled his hands in to fists and before I could even speak he shifted. The force of energy he had conjured when he did threw everyone within a  foot radius into a wall. I hit my head with a thud and I fell to the floor in a slump. I let out a groan as he ran out of the school. I was going to get hell when I got home.
