This whole situation itself was weird beyond belief. Julianne looked at me. "Where is this cure at Eden?" she asked me. I hesitated for a whole moment before I spoke. "It's in Chucalissa...in Nashville." I told her. She narrowed her eyes at me. "You better not be lying to me Eden, the last two Saviours who tried to deceive me, died whilst doing so," she warned. "I'm not lying," I told her. Julianne sighed and then looked around.

"So you want me to spare your family and friends, in order for you to take me to Chucalissa?" she questioned. I nodded and then she laughed loudly. "Child, you do know I was born in Chucalissa? I know exactly where it is I don't need you to take me there," she told me.

"You do realize that without me you wont be able to find that cure, right?" I asked. She set her jaw. "You have a point," she told me. I smiled at her. "Why do you want to help me?" she inquired. "I don't," I admitted. "But Ive spent 17 years of my life not living it to its full potential because of you, all Ive ever done is train to kill you and now I cant even do that. If I give you what you want, you can go on with your life and I can go on with mine, everyone here can," I explained.

"Not exactly how that works, dear but I understand where you're coming from in a way. I hate to break it to you child, your little happily ever after isn't going to happen any time soon," she responded, her tone cold. I tossed that around in my head for a moment. I kind of foresaw that one coming. "Maybe you'll change your mind once you get the cure," I implied. "Doubtful," Julianne replied.

I shrugged. "Worth a shot," I said. "So you say," she said laughing. This was a weird ass situation. I was having a nice and calm argument with a woman I was trained to kill. My palm itched. I really wanted to sum up some energy and blast her ass from here to kingdom come.

Everyone around me just stared at us. Then we heard a series of groans emitted from over in the holler. I dismissed the conversation with Julianne and then I ran over to where Octavia and Connor stood, looking down into the holler. "Uncle Jax?" I asked. Time stood still for a second as I waited for his reply. Was he dying, was that groan the groan that took his breath away? Was I hyperventilating? I looked at Octavia who looked at Connor...why were they always doing that? It was annoying. My attention turned back to the holler. I couldn't see Uncle Jax but I could hear him.

"Damnit Eden, that shit hurt!" he moaned and then he pulled himself up from the side of the holler and onto the gravel of the rutted road. "Serves you right for trying to kill..." I trailed off as something caught my attention out of my peripheral vision.

I looked down the driveway that was hell to drive up and then I saw them. Amber, Lee, Drew and Shaine. Moki, Paco and Len's kids, the Hache's ,my makeshift pack from back home. "The Calvary comes," I whispered.

"Yo Eden care to tell me why I got some weird ass dream last night and it told me the exact directions how to get here?" Lee questioned as he and the other 3 finally made it up the steep driveway. I looked at Immanuel and smiled. I could learn to like this guy. "Is that who I think that is?" Amber asked as her gaze caught that of Julianne. "The one and only," I replied. "And why Is she just standing there and youre just standing here, not inflicting some kinda of hard core damage on each other?" she questioned even further.

Julianne smirked. "Long story short, I cant kill her, but I can cure her," I explained. Amber snorted. "Im not even joking, hence why we are all not killing each other and we're just standing here," I said.

Amber looked at Julianne who just crossed her arms. "This is weird, Eden, even for you" she told me. "Like I don't know this already, so what exactly did that dream consist of?" I asked Lee. I needed a change of subject, or a distraction. Preferably both.

I never found out. "Enough of the chitter chatter are we going or what?" Julianne snapped. "Wait going where?" quiet Shaine asked. Amber and Lee looked at me wondering the same thing.

"Roadtrip?" I said questioningly. Amber narrowed her eyes. I looked around. This was going to be one epic road trip.

Julianne was acting calmer than what I was expecting. Despite her slips of saying she was going to kill me, I was never going to get my fairy tale or how she was going to destroy me she was actually being bearable.

She let my mom and dads go and then everyone split. Octavia, Connor, Immanuel and Becca filled Amber, Lee, Drew and Shaine in on the whole thing, the rest of the seven just sat around doing nothing since they were no longer under orders to kill me, while James sulked in the loft of the cabin while, my mother, dads, Uncle Jax, Cam, Aunt Charlee , Lucas, Julianne and I talked. Which was weird itself because for the past...well forever, Julianne had been trying to kill my mother and now here they were in the same room talking, like normal people.

"My parents were ruthless," Julianne said. She looked at my mother. "They found out that I was in love with one of the villagers and that I planned to run away with him and then in modern terms, they went completely batshit crazy, they locked me in my room after blocking my powers and then while I was sleeping they cast a curse on me. The next time I tried to touch my lover...he burned to a crisp at my touch. I spent the next 5000 years after that trying to find a cure, unfortunate for me there were only 4 cures that my parents made. A bloodline of Pure Bloods, those who had never killed anything in their lifetime, were mine for the taking, but of course there would be an obstacle that would make it nearly impossible to cure myself." My dad laughed. "Really Ezra?" my daddy said, rolling his eyes. "You're actually believing this right now? She's relentless and ruthless and she doesn't care for anyone but herself, she created the werewolves, to have control of something and then when we started getting out of hand she wanted us to kill each other. Sophie she took my damn feelings away out of spite against you, please tell me youre not buying into the whole, "my parents made me kill my boyfriend shit," he snapped.

Damn dad was on a roll. "You don't understand, Ive spent the last 5 millenniums waiting for someone of the Metzger line to be born with cure, that shit jumps generations more than one would think. 2 times I was close enough to being able to touch and love again and then a freaking loop hole in the curse shows up. The Saviours. Petra and Annabelle and now Eden. The three people that could kill me. I had to kill them before they killed me." She said.

"Well your thoughts on the matter are wrong when it comes to me," I said. Lucas looked at me. "If I kill you I kill all the werewolves, I may not want you around because youre like a disease that takes life from everything it touches but the supernatural world wouldn't exist if I killed you. So im going to find you the cure in hopes that you'll realize that the last 5 thousand years of killing and manipulating have been for nothing, because a Saviour is going to help you and not kill or hurt you," I replied.

"You're a good kid Eden," Julianne said sadly. I sighed. "Im really not but thanks anyways," I thanked her.
