So I did some research for this chapter on how long goes into the making of a film so that I could make the timeline as realistic as possible but the results were overwhelmingly telling me that for a film with significant SFX/stuns/complicated shots etc it takes a lot longer than will be convenient for this story so we're going to have to scrap that and just roll with my made up timeline so sorry if it irritates you how inaccurate this whole story is going to be!

**********

After getting washed up and finding all your clothes again, you and Tom settle down on the sofa again and chat well into the afternoon discussing mostly your work- when Ragnarok would likely be going into production, what you would do until then, what you would be expected to do when at work etc.

"Well I'm going to be getting stuck in in just a day or two but it'll still be a little bit until we get into filming, it'll be mostly table reads for the first bit" he tells you, trying to get you fully informed on what to expect.

"Right so I should really get something part-time until then realistically?"

"Possibly, it will only be a few weeks so if you can hold out until then you'll be fine, but if you're really short for money then yeah, I'd consider finding something quite soon." he tells you with a hint of sympathy in his eyes, clearly understanding that this was hardly your dream.

"Ugh, only as a last resort. If things get way too hard to handle then I'll find a way to make some quick money but not unless I absolutely have to" you say with complete certainty in your voice only to see Tom smirking at you from the corner of your eye- "What?"

"Nothing" he chuckles "you just looked really cute getting all passionate about your job"

"Yeah I know, it's a curse really; people never listen to what I'm saying 'cause I'm just too good looking" you joke, flipping your hair and checking your imaginary nail-polish.

"Tom?" you ask, noticing he had been silent for a while

"Sorry did you say something?" he asks, shaking his head as if he was coming out of a trance looking at you

You scoff at his attempt at a joke and playfully push his face away which he battles, pushing your arms down as you keep bringing them back up. He eventually takes advantage of being slightly bigger and spins you round as best as he can so your back is to his front and wraps his arms around your middle, keeping a tight hold of your wrists.

"Hey that's not fair, you have longer arms!" you protest, trying desperately to wriggle out of his grasp which only makes him tighten his hold on you

"Not my fault you have tiny arms y/n" he retaliates, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead and getting up, letting go of you and letting you fall back on the sofa so that you're lying down.

You stay lying down for a while, just letting your thoughts wander freely through your head, thinking about the changes that had happened in your life within just a few days.

Tom starts making himself busy in the kitchen, cleaning up leftover dishes, getting cups out for some tea, wiping down worktops, when your phone starts ringing. You lift your head slightly from the sofa to peer at you screen to see who was phoning. The name "mumsy" had lit up the screen so you jump up to answer it, realising you hadn't spoken to her in a while.

"Mum! Hi, what's up?"

"y/n we bumped into Iris a few minutes ago and she said you have a boyfriend now?"

Mental note to kick Iris next time you see her; check

"No mum I don't have a boyfriend, I've just been on like one or two dates with him it's not serious" you tell her with a much more hushed tone than before, hoping that the sound of the kettle would drown out anything you were saying.
