Back in the safety of our own home you begin gasping for air.

The speed walking quickly descended into sprinting full-tilt in a desperate attempt to get away from the group of fast approaching girls, all clamouring over each other to get your attention. The road you stayed on was a few back from the park so was reasonably secluded, for London at least, so with a quick glance over your shoulder you felt comfortable enough to dive into your house and collapse at the door. You reach up from the ground to the handle and lock it, better safe than sorry you suppose.

Loki places himself right in front of you, his ears perky and tail wagging, clearly having enjoyed the unexpected run you took him on. At this point you're both panting but the exercise was probably good to tire you both out, an early night was definitely needed as your alarm was about to be set to allow you to be at the park at 6am.

6am is like the middle of the night. Why the hell would anyone choose to get up then??

Loki's contentedness seems short lived as he begins to whine, you can't really blame him, you need a drink too after sprinting just under half a mile. Dragging yourself up from the ground, your legs threaten to give out, "jogging was fine, running wasn't" you think, taking a mental note for future. Clutching to the furniture dotted around your living-room you make your way to the kitchen to re-fill Loki's water bowl and place it down. A small puddle is created on the floor by the way you place it down but you pay it no heed.

Ambling your way up the stairs you grab a fresh towel from your cupboard and press it lightly to your nose taking a deep breath in of the new fabric softener you'd gotten- lemon and lime.

You make your way through from your bedroom to your bathroom, letting your eyes adjust from the cream corridor to the varying shades of blue that adorned your bathroom. Peeling off your clothes and leaving them in a pile on the ground you step into the shower after letting it warm up a bit. There's no special occasion or anything, so a quick jump through the shower is more than enough.

The cool air hits your skin that's turned slightly pinker than usual from the heat in the shower. Feeling nicely refreshed you pick out a pair of light grey joggers and a pink, fitted t-shirt and pull on the first pair of socks you can grab. Your hairdryer seems to stare at you longingly but frankly a towel seemed easier at the moment, so, wrapping the towel firmly round your head, ensuring to catch every hair, you make your way downstairs. You grab your phone and prop it up against your toaster so you can see the screen while still milling about. You click on your friends contact name and go about filling the kettle while waiting for her to pick up. Once she does you waste no time in jumping straight into what you have to say-

"Iris Iris Iris oh my GOD I have news" you practically scream at her

Iris and you have always been on the same train of mind with practically everything but you both knew that you could call the other out if needed and the relationship wouldn't falter. You'd both opened up to each other about things that other people had no idea about. Some were really deep, heavy things, but a lot of it was just stupid guilty pleasures that you both admitted without the fear of judgement.

Iris's eyes shoot open wider than they'd ever been before as she sits up straight "ooh ooh ooh OK tell me" she responds, brimming with excitement as to what you were about to tell her.

"OK so you're probably not going to believe me when I tell you this but you know Tom Hiddleston?"

-"Our husband? Obviously you idiot go on"

"Well I was walking Loki in Hyde Park honestly just like an hour ago and I met him and we spoke for a solid 10 minutes!!" you squeal out

Iris doesn't respond. Not with words at least, instead she expresses herself through the means of screaming and shaking out of pure excitement and awe.
