True but Unrequited

First day.

Shuhua's POV

I woke up at the smell of something delicious but unusual since I always go out for breakfast, eating with my dad just makes my appetite go away.

"What could it be?" I asked while rubbing my eyes, then I remembered that I invited Soojin unnie to stay here until his fiancèe came back from the trip.

How long is she going to hide her relationship? Why is she not telling me anything? But coming to think about it, either my dad never told me when he's going to make me meet her soon to be wife, maybe that's because I never showed any interest nor excitement towards them?

"Shit, the plan!" I said almost screaming which made me snap out of my thoughts.

Damn, I should start doing something today.

Soojin's POV

I don't know why but I feel comfortable here, maybe because this is Yixing oppa's house, who knows..

As soon as I woke up I decided to cook breakfast for Shuhua. I looked at some pictures while walking through the hallway, there were different ones.
Yixing oppa during some trips, Shuhua when she was young, but something made me curious all of a sudden.

I never saw a picture of Shuhua's mom, there were some times that I wanted to ask Yixing oppa how her wife looked like, but since I know the topic is very sensitive for him, I never did.

When I reached the kitchen I did my best to not be noisy so I won't wake Shuhua up.

Since I don't know what she likes to have in the morning I decided to prepare few things.

I checked the refrigerator and the cabinet where the ingredients were, she has pretty much everything.

I made some pancakes, eggs and bacon to be sure cause simple is the best, also some avocado toasts since she had two of them in the refrigerator, seaweed soup and few brownies so she could have more options.

While I was stirring the soup I felt two arms hugging me from behind.

<<Good morning>> Shuhua said with her morning voice which made me freeze.

<<Oh h- hey, good morning.>> I said stuttering causing her to giggle.

<<You could have woken me up to help you.>>  She said releasing the hug.

<<It's fine, don't worry about it, I like cooking.>> I was able to say this time without stopping.

<<I hope you won't get the wrong idea though.>> She suddenly said, is she talking about the hug? Suddenly my heart started beating fast.

<<A- about what?>> Damn me. Why am I like this?

<<About inviting you here, I don't want you to think that I'm taking advantage of you and your cooking.>> She said looking at me like a baby.

"How can she be that cute in the morning?"

<<You sure?>> I said teasing her.

<<Hmm.. maybe not.>> Shuhua said laughing.

I was going to seat but then I forgot the drinks.

<<What do you prefer? Coffee, tea or->>

<<You!>> She said which made me cough.

<<What?>> I said with my eyes wide open.

<<I said I want you.>> She said more clearly.

<<Shuhua..>> I said but couldn't really continue as I was left speechless.
