Shuhua's POV

<<I'm->> I was ready to tell her everything.

Somehow what Hyewon told me at the park kicked in really hard. I had this urge to get everything out from my chest, it was that heavy that sometimes didn't even let me sleep at night.

People say that lying is normal, it's part of life, sometimes what others want to hear is a pleasant lie than a painful truth, but why do you have to lie to those you love?

Is it to make them happy? Or is it for our own satisfaction? Or maybe, at some point, we don't like ourselves and we try our best to rebuilt a new persona. A better one, someone that people around us could be proud of. But is it worth it to be proud of someone who is fake?

For the first time in my life I was so greatful that my Dad came back home.

I looked at her for a moment and smiled.

<<Go to him.>> I said weakly to Soojin unnie.

<<But Shuhua->> She said holding onto my arm trying her best to stay.

<<He deserves you more.>> I said while removing her hand from my arm.

She shaked her head in sign of disagreement but after giving one last glance I layed down in my bed.

Third person's POV

The way from Shuhua's room to the living room never felt so far for Soojin. A lot of thoughts were running around her mind.

"Is she giving up on us again?"

"Did she mean it when she said she loved me?"

"Who do I love more? Yixing Oppa or Shuhua?"

<<Hey hun>> Yixing said living a peck on Soojin's lips.

<<H-hey>> Soojin said perplexed.

<<Is everything okay? Are you sick?>> Yixing asked Soojin placing his hand on Soojin's forehead to check on her temperature.

<<Everything's fine don't worry>> Soojin said.

<<I must be tired because of school>> She added.

<<I see, do you want to resign and maybe chill more?>> The businessman proposed to his wife.

<<No there's no need to do it, you know how much I love teaching and interacting with the students.>> Soojin said while shaking her hands.

<<Alright, if that's what you want. I just suggested because I don't want to see you too tired or too stressed.>> Yixing said while caressing Soojin's head.

<<What about Shuhua? Is she not home?>> Yixing asked on his way to their room.

<<She's here, she's just in bed.>> Soojin said shortly.

<<Is she sick?>> The man asked preoccupied.

<<No, she just came back after her morning walk with Hyewon, maybe she just wants to rest.>> Soojin said trying to cover the youngest.

Shuhua's POV

I woke up from my nap and looked outside my window.

"How come it's already dark outside?"

I looked ad the clock on my desk and it was 8:17 pm.

The tray beside it caught my attention. Is it the tray's day today or something? I went to the kitchen carrying the tray, no one was at home apparently.
