"Remember all the nights,

Underneath the city lights.

You held my hand and said from now forever till the end."

~ Away We Go, Liberty Deep Down

Alec's POV

"So, my favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip." Finley laughed, looking over at me. We were in our hotel room, doing another Q and A for her channel. Our show tomorrow was in Tampa, and the beach was right outside of our hotel.

"Mines boring. I like plain old chocolate." I laughed back. Finley took the phone out of my hands.

"Will you play Subnautica: Below Zero eventually?' Yes! I didn't start playing it when the early access was released because I knew I wouldn't have time to do more than one video before the craziness of tour started. So, yes! I will definitely be playing that when I get settled in after tour!" she answered. "Also, the next question is our favorite holiday and I think we both know the answer to that one."

"Christmas!" we said in unison, laughing at ourselves after. She handed me the phone and I read off the next question, 'How do you both know sign language?'

"So, I've realized I've never really shared with you guys why or how I know ASL, and the answer to that question is that my younger cousin was born deaf. She was born when I was two, so I've been learning and using sigh language since I was two years old. Me and my whole family are now fluent in ASL, which is really cool because it's not a language many people think to learn. Her being deaf is also the reason all my videos are always captioned. Shout-out to Emma and Kit for captioning all my videos!" Finley exclaimed, and I smiled at the camera.

"So, I know sign language for the same reason Finley does. My little sister was born deaf in one ear, so we all learned sign language to help her out. Sometimes it's just easier to sign with her." I explained. The next question was asking if we watch ASMR or anything like that to help us sleep.

"I do! I watch ASMR sometimes before bed, but I also watch Bob Ross painting videos. His like, entire TV show is on YouTube for free, which is just awesome because Bob Ross is so calming."

"I don't watch ASMR, but I do enjoy Bob Ross." I laughed.

The next question was dogs or cats, which for me was dogs and Finley said both. Then she launched into this month's book recommendation. I let my mind wander while she talked about her book. I took the phone from her hands and read the next question, feeling my face fall.

"Lex?" the concern in her voice broke me out of my thoughts. I looked over at her. "The next question?" she asked, giving me a concerned look.

"Oh, uh. The next question is specifically for you. It's asking what it's like to be in a relationship with someone who's queer."

"Oh... Oh Lex." She gently cupped my face in her hands for a moment, then turned back to the camera.

"Well, that's all the time we have for today! Thank you so much for sending in your questions!" I jolted in surprise, then smiled at the camera, smoothing my face out to mask my true feelings. "Thank you all so much for watching this video. Remember, like, subscribe and all that shit! Love you all! Bye!" she exclaimed, then reached over and turned her camera off. She moved so she sat down beside me again.

"I'm sorry Lex. I had Izzy go through the questions earlier and screenshot them. She must have gotten that one by mistake. I'm so sorry. When I edit the video, this weekend I'll edit that bit out." She trailed off, looking at me. I closed my eyes and leaned against her, feeling her arms wrap around me.
