"Yeah, look at us baby,

tonight, the midnight rules are breaking.

There's no such thing as wild enough

And maybe we just think too much

Who needs to play it safe in love?

Let's be crazy!"

~ I Want Crazy, Hunter Hayes.

Alec's POV

The last few days of tour had been amazing. Barcelona was absolutely beautiful, and it had been fun spending time on the beaches there. We were currently back in London. We had all decided to go back to London and spend the first few days of break together. We'd all be flying home tomorrow morning, but Finley and were taking this opportunity to wonder the quiet streets around our hotel. It was the middle of the night and we both knew we should be back at the hotel asleep, but neither of us cared much. We were alone for the first time this tour, not having to worry about a curfew imposed by management or a concert happening the next day. We were free and it was amazing. Although walking through the streets alone felt a little crazy.

We had wondered our way to a little brick church. The windows of the church were lit with flickering lights made to look like candles. The courtyard had a beautiful angel fountain in it and the water was splashing down musically. London was both old and new and this part felt familiar to me, although I had never been here before. Maybe it was just that it was a church and that had always made me feel safe. Finley sighed and leaned against me, watching the water running out of the angels hands.

"It feels like a fairytale." She whispered. I laughed quietly and took her hand, spinning her away from me and then back into my arms. She was laughing madly now as she crashed back into my arms, laying her head gently on my chest. We started swaying to an invisible song. We probably looked insane and we were possibly trespassing, but at that moment, I didn't care. We both jumped with the churches old bell started chiming the hour. I heard Finley counting the loud bongs.

"It's midnight," she concluded, wiggling from my arms.

"Does the princess have to be home?" I questioned, raising my eyebrows at her.

"No, and even if I did, I wouldn't leave." She stated, sticking her tongue out at me. I feigned shock.

"Ah, Cinderella is breaking the midnight rules?"

"Sometimes it's better to not play it safe. Especially in love." She whispered the last part to herself. I don't think she knew I heard.

"Well, in that case, who needs to play it safe. Let's be crazy." I said.

"I don't trust that look in your eye but screw it. Let's be crazy." She laughed, and took my hand, pulling me out of the courtyard.

Finley and I stayed out all night, experiencing all the London nightlife could offer us, and with every passing minute I felt myself falling more and more in love with her. We got to the hotel with enough time to change and gather our things and meet the others in the lobby. We must have looked exhausted, but nobody questioned us.

Our sendoff that morning was grey and rainy. We had a small delay and then we were finally in the air. Finley and I slept until we landed in New York, where we caught our connecting flight, mine and the others to Toronto and Finley's and the girls to Columbus.

------------------

The four weeks we had off were great. I spent them relaxing with my parents and Cami, but also spending a ridiculous amount of time on the phone with Finley. Break had taken the month of June and the first week of July. By now, the summer heat was in full swing. Our first show was in two days in Minneapolis. We had all flown over a few days early for rehearsals. After the show here, we went to Saint Paul, a double show in Chicago, then Indianapolis before our show in Orlando then our two-day break for Izzy's birthday.
