And I've been wrong. I've been down
To the bottom of every bottle.
These five words in my head
Scream are we having fun yet.'
~ How You Remind Me, Nickelback
Alec's POV
The next few days passed by in a blur of shows and meeting fans. HOFs fans have been quite welcoming to us, and it's been amazing. Finley and I were walking around Liverpool, Patch a few paces behind us. Fin kept glancing back at him.
"Do you have a problem with Patch being here?" I asked her. She looked up at me and shook her head.
"No, not really. I mean, I wish I didn't need a babysitter, but I know it's for my own safety. Well, our safety. I love Patch. He's been with us since my very first tour." She explained.
"Yeah, that big ass All Time Low tour you went on for your first tour." I scoffed. She smirked up at me.
"Jealous, O'Connor?" I wrinkled my nose at her.
"Maybe a little bit." She laughed.
"That wasn't the first tour though. We toured with 5 Seconds of Summer first, then ATL. Those were both just US tours. And then we did our own headline tours in the US and Europe. This is the biggest tour we've ever been on. Our very first world tour. It's kinda scary." I held my hands up.
"Hey, I didn't say it, but you're right." I laughed. Finley shook her head at me, laughing too. We found a little bookshop and went inside, getting ourselves lost in the maze of book stacks. When we left, there was some fans waiting outside, to which we happily took pictures with until Patch had to escort us away and into a waiting car being driven by my head of security, Luke.
The show in Liverpool that night was amazing. The next day was on off day in London. Tomorrow night was our first of two shows at the O2 Arena. Then we'd be heading to Brighton for HOF's acoustic show on Brighton Beach and our final show on the next day.
"You ready?" Finley asked me. We were getting ready to film a Q and A for her channel.
"Yeah," I nodded, and she pushed play.
"Hey ya'll! My name is Finley Evans and today I am joined by my good friend and Ten Seconds to Midnights guitarist, Alec O'Connor!"
"Hey guys!" I said happily.
"Today we will be doing a Q and A. We asked you guys to send in questions using the hashtag, 'AskAlley', so we will be answering a few of those." The first question was 'how was tour so far?'
"Good!" Fin answered brightly.
"Stressful!" I laughed. "But it's been amazing so far."
"Agreed. The next question is, 'city you're most excited to visit'?" I stayed quiet, thinking, waiting for Fin to answer. I glanced over at her, she was thinking too, her eyes on the ceiling. I smiled and looked back at the camera.
"Probably Madrid, but I'm also really excited to get back and play in Toronto." I answered.
"I'm definitely excited for the Columbus show. Hometown shows are always that best ones. But I'm most excited to visit Venice and Rome. I've wanted to go to Italy for years and I'm so glad I'm finally getting the chance." She laughed. I took her phone out of her hand and read off the next question, 'will HOF take a break after this tour or go right back into writing?'
"We'll probably take a short break and then start writing again. Probably before the holidays we will go back into the studio to write, but who knows, the end of tour is still a very long ways away."
