[DREW'S POINT OF VIEW!]
Chapter Twenty-Six
"Mmm, everything smells so good," Lynn smiled.
"Thank you," Aynsley said. "Drew helped."
"Not much," I said humbly. "I just did the little crescent things."
"Those smell good as well," Lynn said. "Bow your heads?" Everyone bowed their heads, and she blessed the food.
"Amen," everyone said in unison.
Everyone dug into their food, enjoying the meal.
"Drew, you put your foot in the bread," Lynn joked.
"No, Ms-um, Lynn," I said, catching myself. "The Pillsbury dough boy did."
Everyone laughed. Except Grady, of course.
Grady looked up and caught my eye, a little hint of anger in his eyes. I glared back, hopefully letting him know I wasn't in the mood to be messed with.
"So," Aynsley said, "how was everyone's day."
"Tiring!" Lynn answered. She then went on to elaborate on her day's events and as Aynsley joined, I couldn't help but notice how Grady kept looking at Aynsley's ring.
Damn, did he want one too?
"That is simply gorgeous!" gushed Lynn.
I guess the conversation about our day was over.
"What is?" I asked, joining in.
"Aynley's ring. Where did you get it?" Lynn asked.
Aynsley blushed, a small smile on her face. "Um, Drew gave it to me. It was a gift, when we first started dating."
"That's amazing, Drew! So sweet of you!" Lynn said happily.
"Nahh, no biggie. Beautiful things for beautiful people," I smiled at Aynsley.
She leaned over, giving me a soft kiss on the lips.
I turned to see Grady staring at us with cold, angry eyes. I smirked. She was mine, not his; he would have to deal.
I looked him in the eye before I gave her another kiss, longer than the one before.
Dinner would be fun.

Dinner was over and Aynsley and I were cleaning up the kitchen and dining room.
"That was great," I said, putting the last of the dishes into the dishwasher.
"It was," Aynsley said, drying her hands off on a paper towel.
I sighed. "Man, I've got to get going."
"Who says you have to?"
A smile crept onto my face. "Not you?"
"Stay," Aynsley said, wrapping her arm around me.
"Well," I said, pretending to think about it.
"Please?" She kissed me on my neck. "Please?"
"Mmm. I guess one night wouldn't hurt."
Aynsley grabbed my hand and led me up the stairs to her room. She closed the door behind her, and turned off all the lights in her room except for the lamp that sat on her bedside table. She grabbed my shirt, pulled me close, and kissed me hard.
Man, I missed this so much.
I kissed her back even harder, the past two and a half weeks catching up to me. I pulled her closer, though there wasn't any closer she could get. I pressed her up against the wall, her body so soft against mine. Her fingers tangled in my hair.
I wanted her so bad.
I held her close as I spun away from the wall and carried her to the bed. I laid her down gently on the bed, her lips never once leaving mine. I crawled on top of her, and she ripped off her shirt. I then proceeded to rip off hers.
I kissed her neck, going down to her navel and back up again. I kissed her chest, gently tracing the edges of her lacy black bra.
"Drew," Aynsley moaned. "I missed you, so much. And I want you, so bad."
"I know," I agreed. "Me too."
I found her lips, sucking on them gently. I sat up and she undid my belt. I yanked my pants off as she shimmied out of her shorts. She pulled me close, kissing me hungrily. She undid her bra and let it fall to the floor. I tried to keep from staring at her breasts, but failed miserably. I cupped her breasts in my hands, massaging them softly. I kissed their outline gently.
"Mmm, Drew," Aynsley moaned.
She pulled off my boxers and I hooked a finger in her panties, then pulled them off swiftly. She pulled me close, her lips kissing my abs, chest, everywhere. I traced my finger up her thigh lightly, and I felt her shiver slightly. I grabbed one of her legs, placing it around my waist. Her hand rubbed me from my chest on down, and it was my turn to shiver. She rubbed the back of my neck gently and then pushed her body against mine. I postioned myself above her, ready to go.
Then I heard a loud, THUMP. And then a quiet, faraway giggle.
Shit, her parents.
"Anysley," I said, pulling away, "your mom."
She sighed defeatedly. "Damn them," she cursed. "They couldn't have gone out and done something old people do on the weekends?"
I chuckled, laying down next to her. I pulled her close, her facing me.
"Do you want me to go?" I asked.
"No!" Aynsley whisper-shouted.
I chuckled. "Would you like me to stay?"
She kissed me softly. "Always." Her eyes fluttered shut.
I kissed her on her forehead. "Then I'll never leave."
"Fine by me." She snuggled under me, her head nuzzling my neck.
I pulled the cover tighter around us. "Mmm, looks like it's goodnight, sleeping beauty. Love you."
"Love you too."
As she snuggled closer I smiled to myself and closed my eyes, trying to drift off to sleep with her.
This was perfect. The way it should always be.

"Yum," I said, scarfing down my last piece of bacon. "Racheal Ray better look out."
Aynsley chuckled. "Thank you." She picked up my plate, rinsed it off, and sat it in the dishwasher.
I gulped down my glass of orange juice. "Thank you for the breakfast. Even though it's twelve in the afternoon."
"Hey, what am I here for?" Aynsley asked, sliding her arms around me.
I kiss her on the nose. "Don't forget, I'll be by at eight to pick you up for dinner."
"I won't forget," she insisted.
"Please don't wear anything too revealing, my dad tends to think all my love interests are sluts."
She laughed. "Is that what you bring home?"
"That's what I throw in, now and again. That's what my brother dragged in every two point five seconds."
She laughed again. "I'll keep that in mind."
"I've got to go," I said reluctantly. I didn't want to go after last night. It was so good, being back.
"I'll walk you to the door."
I held her hand as we made our way to the foyer.
"Hurry back," Aynsley said, kissing me softly.
"Will do," I promised.
"Bye, love."
"Bye," I said.
I gave her a quick peck, my lips brushing the edge of her mouth softly. I looked back and shot her a sweet smile before I headed to my car.
