RAELYNN POV

Hair, so much hair and it was everywhere. I opened my eyes to see red hair but I didn't mind. It smelt good. Like something fruity, so I gravitated to it naturally. I inhaled the sweet scent and drifted off to sleep again.

I woke up again to a harsh slap on my arm. I groaned and ignored it but another hit came.

"Rae, get up." Grace's voice reached my ear.

"No." I groggily said.

She sighed and I felt the bed dip. "We weren't suppose to do sleepovers."

I removed my head from under the pillow to see her. "What?"

"You slept here, that wasn't suppose to happen." She stared at me.

She was right, it was one of the agreements. That and no feelings. Two simple rules. I was also freaking out because this was the very first time I fell asleep with someone. Much less cuddle and we fucking cuddled a lot last night. Every time I fucked a girl, I either left her in a hotel room or in the nightclub. I just couldn't sleep with someone else next to me but I did last night.

"Don't worry about it, it's just sleep." I replied with a shrug. I didn't want it to seem like it affected me.

She raised a brow but nodded. "Alright. You want breakfast or are you leaving?" She asked, already walking to the door.

I sat up and let the covers fall, still naked. "I always want food."

She pointed to her connected bathroom. "Spare toothbrush is there, I'm not sure if my clothes will fit though. Help yourself." With that she left.

I got up and did what I had to. After a quick shower, I put on my same clothes because hers was just too damn small. I went out of the room to find her waiting for me to eat.

"This looks good." I walked to her and caught her mouth.

"Food, Rae." She pulled away. I kissed her again. "Fine, you first."

We fucked on the kitchen counter and after ate the tasty breakfast she made.

"Are you working today?" I asked the redhead.

"Nah, it's my day to do absolutely nothing." She told me.

I wasn't working today either. I was going to take a hike on one of the trails, but I could use the company. I quickly debated whether or not to invite her. We said no actual sleeping together or feelings, nothing about being friends.

"Danny, he uh, kinda kicked me out of the club and gave strict instructions to relax." I started and she raised a curious brow at me. "I'm going hiking, would you like to join me?"

"Isn't that against the rules or something?"

I shrugged and leaned against the counter. "Nope, if anything it's helping the whole 'Friends with benefits' thing we have going." I smirked. "We just dealt with benefits, now for the friends bit."

I could see her contemplating my offer. "I guess I could tag along."

"Awesome, I just have to stop by my place for clothes and some stuff."

"Okay, how much further because I didn't think it would be this hard." Grace complained.

I rolled my eyes, its only been ten minutes. "Don't you work out?"

"Yes, but only to stay in shape. I don't like it." She grumbled.

"Come on, grumpy." I took her hand to helped her along the trails.

"I can't believe you took my phone away." She complained again. "Who does that?"

"Cara, it's in my bag. I just like this to be a peaceful thing, no technology or worries." I reasoned.

The blues eyed beauty sighed loudly but refrained from speaking.

When we reached our destination, I carefully watched her reaction. We were high enough to see most of the city. We couldn't see the hustling and crowed streets, or hear the disturbing noice. It was calm and peaceful, so quiet you could hear your own thoughts. Which were a little scary for me, my thoughts were far from peaceful most of the time. Yet, here with her, not one scary thought surfaced.

"This is amazing." Grace said with an awestruck expression.

"Yeah, it's my favorite spot." I replied while I placed my bag down.

I brought us some snacks and drinks to munch on. A blanket so our clothes wouldn't get too dirty. I spread the blanket and emptied out the stuff. When I looked back to Grace, she was still marvelling at the sight before her.

I called her over to have something to drink and eat, it was a pretty long hike up. After satisfying our stomachs, we both sat in silence lost in our own thoughts. Mine was filled with her. About the past few weeks we spent, mostly in bed naked. I barely knew anything about her but I did want to know more.

"I didn't take you for a nature person." She spoke.

Turning my head, I saw she was looking at me. "No?" She shook her head. "Then what did you see me as?"

Her blue eyes looked me up and down with a smirk. "Sex, cigars and booze."

I laughed at that, if only she knew. She was right about the sex though.

"That's very stereotypical of you, Ms Brenner." I smiled.

She leaned in and captured my bottom lip with her teeth. She sucked on it gaining a moan from me before slowly pulling back.

"What else is there that you don't want people knowing?" She tried to play it off as though she wasn't serious, but I knew she was.

I mentally shook my sexual thought away and answered with a smirk. "You show me yours and I'll show you mine."

She laughed. "Alright, you get one question and so do I."

"You go."

I could see her contemplating on what to ask. Her brows furrowed deeply as she bit her bottom lip.

"Why do you sleep around so much?"

I groaned at the question but answered anyway. "I honestly don't know. I like sex, and I never found anyone I liked enough to fuck more than once." I shrugged not realising what I had said.

When I did, my eyes widened in panic. I glanced at her to see a blank expression and a raised brow. After a moment's pause, she spoke.

"Your turn."

I didn't hesitate, the question and been on my mind for a while now. "Who hurt you?"

She didn't answer, just stared ahead. I waited for a few minutes and I came to the conclusion that she wasn't going to answer.

"What makes you think I was?" Her voice had soften significantly.

"I know pain when I see it." I matched her tone. Her pain was different from mine, but pain was pain.

She nodded, still staring ahead of us. My eyes remained on her as I watched her eyes cloud in thought.

"My ex. Let's just say, he broke my heart so badly that I'm still looking for pieces of it." She looked at me then.

I could see the abundance of pain in her eyes and I knew there was a lot more to the story. It wasn't as simple as that.

"Anyone who lets a woman as beautiful and breathtaking as you go, is a fucking idiot." I said truthfully.

A small smile broke through. "My my, she said something nice that isn't sexual to me." She teased.

"Yeah, I have my moments."

Silence fell around us again. I stole glances at the woman next to me, and I found myself mesmerized each time. She was definitely doing something to me.
