To Sunghoon, Y/n was a caterpillar. She was a small fragile being but she will hide herself away for a while to heal, and emerge as a beautiful butterfly ready to conquer the world.

To Y/n, Sunghoon was her knight in shining armour but yet he was still the villain in her story, but she was also the villain. Maybe in her story the villains win.

Y/n POV
We're at the park for over an hour now and I'm just sitting down by myself at a tree watching everyone run around and laugh. I'd like to join them but I was afraid I'd get carried away and get my hopes up on being happy.

It was relaxing getting to see my new found friends being happy. Maybe they can be happy for me. They can practice for when I'm gone.

As im in my own world daydreaming, someone runs up to me and grabs my hands pulling me up.

"Yah! Niki what are you doing?"
"Well I cant leave my noona all alone now can I?"
"Well actually yes you ca-"
"Aish! Come onnnn~"
"Fiiine!"

He drags me with him to the others and they all turn and smile at me. I think I may have found some good people this time.

"Oooh my gyeomdung-i! Look at your pretty lil smile!" I swear this girl is seeing things.
"Yah! Shutuppp~ c'mon leats go to the swings bubba!"
"Awwe I wanna play on the zipliiiine!"
"Fine fine! I'll go myself!"

I start walking over to the swings but stop as I feel a hand slip into mine.

"Ill go with you Y/n." I look up to see Jay smiling at me.
"Awe thank you Jay!"
"Hehet no problemo kiddo!" He riffled my hair with his free hand and chuckled.

Sunghoon POV
As Y/n walks over to the swings I was about to follow her but Jay beats me to it and he holds her hand and says something to make her smile. This irritates me for some reason. Shouldnt I be glad to see her happy? Or is it just that I want it to be me making her happy?

I sit down on the bench near the swings and watch Jay pushing Y/n and watch her smile grow each time she swings higher. I wish I met her earlier in life and maybe I could see her smile like that everyday. I want her to share her pain with me. I want her to be able to tell me anything. But why? I only just met her. Why do I feel this way towards her? Have I met her in my past life? I dont know. But I'm glad I have her now. I'll take care of her. I'll keep her safe from the evil in the world. I'll make her mine soon.

Y/n POV
I'm being pushed on the swings by Jay and I cant help but leave my worries go as I go higher and higher. I laugh. It feels nice. I'm still scared. I'll always be scared.

I look over to see Sunghoon smiling at me and I call him.

"Sunghooonie! Look at meee~ I'm taller than you now!"

I se him chuckle and he shakes his head before standing up and walking over to me.

"Jay, Jungwon donsang wants you, I'll take over from here!"
"Okay! Have fun Y/n! And keep smiling, it looks good on you." With that he ran over to Jungwon and talked with him.

Sunghoon started pushing me and I felt butterflies from his touch on my lower back. I dont know why.

"Y'know he's right..."
"Who?"
"Jay. You look amazing when you smile!"
"Yah! Shut it ice boy. Dont go all soft on me now." He chuckles at my response.
"Hmm. I'll always be ice boy hm?"
"Yup!"

He stops my swing and leans close to the back of my neck sending shivers down my spine.

"You'll always be little girl..."
"Hehet... whatever!" I jump off the swing and turn to him. "You've long legs but I'm really fast, wanna play tag?"
"You're such a kid." He laughs but nods and smiles gently.

I tap his shoulder and run calling behind me. "Tag! You're it!"
He chases after me and takes his time but catches up to me fast.

We play tag for a while until everyone ended up joining in.

"See, you join people together with your happiness Y/n, stay happy please..."
