Today is the first day of Y/n's college courses here in Korea. She's nervous of course, but most of all she wants to be able to make a good first impression on all her new professors and classmates.
She's going to college to get her communications degree so she can become a professional interpreter. To do this she's taking multiple linguistic courses, an English class, and even a class on the psychology of cognitive language development!
She's very excited for that one because there's bound to be people with common interests of hers in that class. Which means she'll likely be able to make friends in that class!
She's happy for her brother and is incredibly proud of him for making friends with such a nice group of guys, however, she doesn't feel right swooping in and becoming part of that group when it really belongs to Jungkook and not her.
Besides, for the time being she wants to give Yoongi his space. Lord knows inserting herself into the man's primary friend group would do quiet the opposite of that...
Smiling at her reflection, Y/n takes a deep breath and smooths out the wrinkles in her jeans as she re-surveys her outfit for about the millionth time this morning.
Today she's paired a baggy pair of dark washed blue jeans cuffed at the bottom with a light green crew neck.
On the front of the sweater a cartoon frog is printed cutely and beneath it a collared shirt pokes out at the neck line.
Her shoes are a nice brand of sneakers, though they're white and pretty scuffed up so they show their age.
For accessories she wears her white tote bag filled with her books and other necessities for today along with a dark blue bucket hat to match her jeans.
Over all, hella cute.
As she continues to primp in the mirror for a bit longer, she eventually catches a glimpse of the bright blue bag sitting on her bed wrapped up nicely with a white lace bow.
Inside are three replacement white t-shirts for Yoongi, as well as the receipt in case she guessed his size wrong. There's also a gift card for Starbucks since she heard they're known for their great coffee, and finally a tiny hand written apology note explains how truly sorry she is.
Smiling, Y/n turns and grabs the bag with a look of hope worn on her features.
After lots of thought last night, Y/n decided she wouldn't simply wallow in self pity over the fact that her soulmate wants nothing to do with her.
