It was a simple date I went on with the guy. I didn't genuinely didn't think that it would be a big deal. The girls at school didn't even know that I agreed to go out with him, but it was a small town. News traveled fast, and I was not ready for the next day at school.

I was at my locker, grabbing my books for my first two period classes when Wendy and her friends approached me.

"Um...hey guys-"

"Don't act all coy," Bebe instantly cut me off.

"Oh- I uh-"

"So, you figured you couldn't have Wendy's current boyfriend, so you went out with her ex?" Red added.

"Excuse me?" I questioned.

"Come on, (Y/N), we know you went out with Greg last night. How pathetic," Bebe scoffed.

"Seriously, you need to stay away from us and our boyfriends," Red added.

"I swear I-"

"Save it. We don't care enough to even hear what you say," Wendy finally said.

"You may not care, but it's clear your ex does," I barked back at her.

She seemed taken off guard for a moment but soon came back with her own rebutted, "At least I'm not a whore flirting with every guy in the school."

"It's not flirting, I'm just not being a rude bitch to everyone. Maybe you should try it," I said.

I watched Wendy's face start to scrunch up, as she took a step closer to; her friends doing the same.

"If I were you, I'd-"

"You'd what?" I interrupted her, also taking a step closer to her.

She looked shocked with my boldness, but I knew I couldn't back myself up for much longer. One on one, I would take her down, but it wasn't just her. I hadn't even been here a week, and I was about to face my first fight.

"Wendy, what are you doing?" someone asked from down the hall.

I took my eyes off of Wendy for a moment to see Stan with his friends. He wasn't looking at me but instead at Wendy. He held a look of disgust, as he shook his head and came over to us. It took a matter of seconds for Wendy to crumble.

"Stan, I-"

"Seriously Wendy, we talked about this...she's new, would it kill you to just be nice?" He questioned her.

"No, it's not even like that-"

"Wendy, you literally were face to face with her, for what? This is getting ridiculous. I told you that if things went back to the way they were that-"

"No, Stan, I swear it's not like that," she panicked. "Right (Y/N)?"

Was she really trying to ask me for help right now?
I glanced between her and Stan, not really knowing what to say. If I lied, Wendy and I could be friends, but if I expose her, who knows what would happen to their relationship, and then I wouldn't even need Greg.

"You know what, Wendy? If you're going to keep being like this, I'll just have (Y/N) come hang out with me and the guys. You're still acting so crazy; I should have known better," he mumbled, looking towards me. "Come on, (Y/N)."

I looked back to Wendy one more time, not wanting her to see my apparent satisfaction with the situation. I then looked to Stan and nodded before following him over to his group of friends.

"Guys, you know (Y/N), she's going to hang out with us for a while," Stan told them.

"Ew, I don't want some lame girl hanging around us. What will Heidi say?" Cartman complained.

"God, let her," Stan grumbled. "They can get over it. I'm so tired of the girls here acting so stuck up, for what?"

I could tell that Stan was on edge, but I didn't make a comment. I didn't talk much at all. I didn't really know what to say. That was until-

"Wait, (Y/N), didn't you go on a date with Greg yesterday?" Kyle asked.

The other three boys stopped in their tracks and looked back to me.

"You went on a date with that British douche?" Cartman questioned.

"First day here, and you're already going on dates?" Kenny winked at me.

"You two went on a date?" Stan asked, in disbelief.

"I mean yeah, we just got pizza-"

"Do you like him?" Stan asked.

Speak your next words carefully, (Y/N). He still has a girlfriend.

"Yeah, he was nice. I think we are going to do it again," I told him.

"See, I don't even know what Wendy's bugging about. You like Greg," Stan let out an ironic laugh.

He looked like he was going to go insane. Was Wendy really driving him this crazy?

"Dude, you alright?" Kyle asked.

"Yeah, let's just get to class," Stan mumbled.

No one pressed him any further. All the boys followed after his lead, and I trailed behind them.
