Mike and Emily were sitting outside catching the last of the sunlight before it got dark as they kept a look out for anything strange.

"What do you want to do after all this is over?" Emily asked Mike as he raised a brow confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Like after being a samurai?"

"With you," Mike smiled as Emily couldn't help but blush. She adored Mike and as much as he has his annoying moments she was finding out he's so loveable underneath his jokey self.

"You do realise after this is over I will need to go home and look after my sister," Emily asked scared incase Mike realised she wasn't a city girl and If this was going to work he was going to have to follow her because she couldn't pick him over family as much as she adored him.

"I thought about that em, believe me when I say I'm falling for you," Mike smiled staring deeply into her eyes, even if she was squinting them because the sun was shining in them. He thought she was the prettiest girl in the world and he felt so lucky.

"I'm excited for our future, that's why we need to not die," Mike laughed trying to make a joke out of what he said even though he was serious.

"I think we make a good team,"Emily smiled as she wrapped her arms around Mike and he put his arms around her.

"Why does this feel too good to be true, something's bound to happen any minute," Mike said as he tightened his grip around Emily getting paranoid incase something was going to come out and attack them.

"Enjoy the moment, your right it won't be long till it's gone Mike. That's why we need to savour moments like these. I'm taking a mental picture right now," Emily giggled holding out her hands pretending she was holding a camera and pretending to take a picture and put it back in her pocket.

Mike smiled at her cuteness and she was right, he didn't want to become over paranoid. Previous rangers in the past had to give up being a samurai due to mental illness. Mike now understood them, he felt like he could go mad at any moment.

"I really don't think I'd be able to get through this without you," Mike said to her as Emily looked up at him.

"We are just meant to be."
