The rangers were outside with their easels, the was shining down on them but they didn't have time to enjoy it. They were too focused on getting the right symbol and not letting mentor and the rest of the team down.
"In battle you will not have this relaxed atmosphere, you need to master working under pressure, avoiding attacks while still defending yourself," mentor explained.
Mentor stood behind Jayden and watched him paint his symbol onto the canvas and small flames quickly burnt his paper into ashes as everyone watched mesmerised.
"That was amazing," Emily said, hardly believing what her eyes had just seen. She was only just starting to realise all of their abilities and it's slowly sinking into Emily's head that they have the power to save the world.

Everyone else gazed at the ashes blowing away, starting to get nervous for their turn.
" Emily, how about you have a go next?" Mentor asked as Emily felt her hands trembling, she was close with the rest of the rangers but she didn't want to make a mistake and for the rest of the rangers to judge or laugh at her.
Emily looked at her blank canvas as she gripped her paint brush. She smoothly drew the whole symbol, concentrating as much as she could making sure she wasn't a spot out of place.

Everyone could see the determination on Emily's face as they all felt proud of her as the saw a big Boulder coming out of the paper and landing with a bang on Kevin's foot.
Kevin yelped in pain and he started hopping on his foot grabbing it and Emily started immediately apologising feeling guilty. Although she had made the symbol perfectly she still felt like she had failed.
Kevin finally got his act together seeing Emily's guilt through his facial expression as he stood up straight and drew his Symbol as water suddenly came splashing out as soaked him.
He could hear Mike laughing in the background, he choose to ignore him and go grab a towel instead.
" Mike be nice," Mia whispered elbowing him as Mike rolled his eyes. Training was boring normally, this is the most excitement there's been for him.
