After all the rangers where checked over by mentor and was giving the okay, the rangers wanted to get an hour of training done before they had dinner that night. Even Mike was keen to get some training done after such a long day, today was a wake up call for everyone that they need to be on their strongest form.  He looked up from the dummy that he was beating to see that Mia, Emily and Kevin were looking at him smiling as Mike smiled back confused.

"What?"

Emily walked off to her her own dummy and starting doing her own training, she didn't want to have a conversation about how Mike was really showing determination because she felt like she had screwed up today. If it wasn't for her Jayden wouldn't have been knocked out of place and no one would have been hurt.

"You really showing true skill Mike, I'm proud of you," Mia said looking at Mike as she walked to him and put her hand on his shoulder, she's loved and cared about Mike. Just like Emily, he was like I little brother to her, family. Mia thought it was important to encourage them as she could tell they are both feeling down recently but no one is ready to talk about their feelings.

"Well today I realised I have to be strong," Mike said as he thought about the attack, it feels so long when your fighting but when he looks back on it, it felt like everything went so quickly. He remembered watching Jayden get hit by a mooger and Emily standing to protect him to then surprise himself and following Mia and Kevin to go save them. Mike felt proud of himself and he wanted to keep being the best he could.

"Today was a big wake up call, how do you feel after it Em?" Mia asked Emily who never answered her as she was busy hitting the moogers with one of the training sticks.

"She's in the zone huh," Kevin laughed as Mia and Mike agreed. Mike had thought to himself that even though they had lived together for so long the only person he's properly bonded with was Kevin because they shared a bedroom, he obviously had conversations with the girls and Jayden but never properly sat down to get to know them and he wanted do. They were all risking their life together and he wanted that bond that they have on the battle field all the time, he felt like that would make them stronger.

Kevin put his hand on mikes shoulder as he watched him staring at Emily in a day dream, he knew Mike had no feelings for Emily in that way but that didn't mean he wasn't protective over his little sister.

"Hey dude, stop staring dude. She's our little sister," Kevin grinned as Mike looked at him almost disgusted.

"You won't need to worry about that," Mike grinned as he picked up his training stick and pointed it at Kevin

"You won't need to worry about that," Mike grinned as he picked up his training stick and pointed it at Kevin.

"Spar with me," Mike said as Kevin nodded up for the challenge as Mia stood back knowing they would need the room.

Both boys made eye contact and nodded before they started their fight. They were both giving each other good hits and it was pretty much an even fight.
