"Well done Emily, always remember to looking over your shoulder. You need to have constant awareness during battle, unlike I did today," Jayden said feeling ashamed that he messed up. Mentor told him about how Emily was feeling and Jayden felt bad. He never wanted Emily to feel so and for his mistake.
Emily did as she was told as she carried on fighting him while glancing over her shoulders every 10 seconds to check behind her.
"Mooger on your left," Jayden shouted as Emily ducked down and turned around as she hit jaydens legs causing him to fall as she Swung her training stick to her left.
" nice one Emily, you got me down!" Jayden laughing getting back to as he swung to Emily again hitting her.
" never let your guard down, even if you think the fight is over," Jayden said as Emily nodded as they started going again.
Every time, Emily felt herself getting better. She studied battle techniques, so she was starting to know what he next move was going to be. Jayden done this on purpose to see if she was doing it and he felt proud when he saw that she was learning.
While Jayden and Emily trained, Mike, Kevin and Mia where in the common room laying on the sofas. Kevin was reading a book as Mia Sat and watched Mike play his video games on the TV.
"Does fighting real life nylocks get boring for you so you need to do it on a game too?" Mia laughed while Mike ignored her.
"You should try reading a book everyone once in a while," Kevin muttered as Mia walked up to him and sat beside him.
"What do you recommend?" Mia asked bored and wanting something to do.
Kevin smiled, he hasn't forgot about his moment earlier when he saw how beautiful Mia looked.
"What kind of stuff are you into?" Kevin asked excited to get to know her more. He didn't understand why he was feeling this way about Mia but he wasn't going to fight against it, he was going to see where it went. He would never get into a relationship, but he wanted a close relationship with someone willing to learn unlike Mike. He loved Mike, but he tested Kevin's patience on a daily basis.
"I've never really been a book girl, but I'm willing to try it. Better than staring at mikes mind killing screen," mias laughed with Kevin as they heard Mike moaning.
"Can you guys be more quite please, I'm trying to concentrate here," Mike said pressing his fingers into the controller harder.
"Maybe we should go to a different room," Kevin suggested as mia agreed as she and Kevin got up from the sofa and and headed to the study.
They turned on the light and sat down at the table. The study was filled of lots of books about samurai battles, samurai history, battle techniques and everything else that involves being a ranger.
"Wow, there's a lot to choose from," Mia said walking around looking at the titles as as Kevin watched her eyes widen as she grabbed a book and took it to the table.
It was a book about the history of pink rangers, Mia couldn't wait to read it. She loved hearing stories from her grandmother from when she was the pink ranger.
"I can't wait to read this, learning all about where I came from, what I have to live up to," Mia explained.
"I wonder if there's one about the blue ranger, I've been reading just each book on the order they are on the shelf. I want to read all of them by the time we have destroyed all nylocks and go home," Kevin laughed scanning all the book titles.
"How many have you read?"
" 13."
Mias eyes widened. She couldn't believe they had only been here for 3 months and Kevin had already managed to 13 books. They were so thick and the wiring was so small.
"That's really impressive, it's probably going to take me 3 months just to read this," Mia laughed as she noticed Kevin found the blue ranger books.
"Maybe we should grab the green and yellow rangers book for Mike and Emily?" Mia asked as Kevin brought his book to the table and he sat down beside Mia.
" I don't know about Emily but Mike wouldn't read a book to save his life. I love the guy like a brother but man he could be the best if he focused a bit more with his creative thinking he could destroy master xandrex himself," Kevin laughed as Mia smiled."Mikes defiantly a character, but I wouldn't change hun. We need a rebel in the group, they come in handy sometimes," Mia laughed as her and Kevin chattered away. They had forgot all about the books that they had chosen out and got lost in the conversation, exchanging stories about their childhood and about growing up as a samurai.
Suddenly there was a large knock at the door. The door swung open and mentor came in,
"Jayden and Emily will be finishing their training in
Around 15 minutes so I will suggest you start preparing to get some rest and as an reward for everyone's hard work i would like you all to have a day off tomorrow. I think you all will need it after your hard work today," mentor says as Mia and Kevin turned to one another and smiled."Thank you mentor!" They both said as he smiled and left the room while talking a book with him and going to the common room to go read while he sat waiting for Emily's training session to be over.
"Mentor?" Mike said walking up to mentor as he put his book down and looked up to the green ranger.
"So on this day off tomorrow, we are allowed to do anything we want? ANYTHING? Apart from see our family's and friends?" Mike asked getting excited.
Mentor nodded his head and smiled knowing the green ranger was excited.
"Yes Mike, your one day of freedom until your back training until your next day off, if your going out to the city I think it's best to stay with someone just incase you run into any trouble but other from that your free."Mike jumped pumping his fists into the air. He knew the first thing he was going to do tomorrow is have pizza for breakfast.
