Chapter 3

Jeff's POV

Once we arrived in the mall, we decided on going to the supermarket first before looking for things to buy for the next door neighbors

"Hey I'm going to go grab some snacks." I said

"Alright dude." Ryan said looking at drinks to buy

"You better hurry up man!" Charles shouted

"Yeah yeah. I know you guys will wait for me." I said walking away smirking

I walked to the snacks section and saw a girl trying to get something from the top shelf but couldn't get it

I walked over and tried to help her

"What snack do u want?" I asked

"Lays please." She said

"What flavor?"

"Sour cream"

"How many?"

"Just one. Oh and the big one please"

I brought down two bags of Lays and gave one to her.

She wore a yellow shirt and shorts and yellow flip flops and had her beautiful wavy hair in a ponytail.

"Thanks." She said

"Are these good?" I asked

"Yeah you should try them! They're my favorite!"

"Okay. I'll try them out and see for myself."

"Great! You'll love them! I assure you."

"So what happens if I don't?" I said teasing her

"Hmm I guess I'll have to do anything you want"

"Anything?" I said jokingly

"How bout I'll treat you to dinner?"

"Dinner sounds good." I said smirking

"So here's my number. Call me when you're ready to treat me to dinner." She said handing me a paper with HER number on it

"I think you mean YOUR treat to dinner." I said jokingly while smiling and walking away

"Later!" I shouted

"Bye." I heard her mutter

"Hey what took you so long?" Charles asked

"And what did you get?" Ryan asked

"One I helped out someone." I said looking at Charles "and two Lays." I said looking at Ryan

"Who?" Charles asked

"What's that?" Ryan asked

"Why don't I just go and tell you guys what happened." I said

They both nodded

So i told them all that happened

"Wait so you already met a girl?!" Charles exclaimed

"Is Lays really that delicious?!" Ryan asked

Leave it to Ryan to always think about food and Charles to think about the girls

"YES captain obvious." I said to Charles "and i don't know man. She said it was delicious." I said to Ryan

"Ok first of all Ryan focus okay? Jeff has already found himself a girl and WE, as in you and I, still haven't!" Charles exclaimed

"Alright alright but your sharing that once we get home." Ryan said to me

"Haha sure thing dude! What'd you guys get for the neighbors?" I asked

"Oh shit! I forgot about that!" Ryan exclaimed

"Let's just grab something on the way out." I said

Debby's POV

Once we were done with our grocery shopping, we went to the food court to get some smoothies before we went home

Jade and I went to go buy the smoothies while Amber sat down at the table in the back

We ordered 1 large mango-banana smoothie and 2 large mango smoothies

I paid the cashier the exact amount and grabbed the smoothies and went to our table

I gave Jade her mango- banana smoothie and we drank our smoothies

I told them everything that happened with the guy in the supermarket

"Oh my God, Debby! You met a guy while we were busy buying food?!" Amber exclaimed

"You're right you know Debby. Nobody knows who we are here. I think it's time for a brand new start." Jade said drinking her smoothie

"So when are you guys having that dinner?" Amber said practically jumping up and down as if she was the one who met the guy

"Hmm I don't know. I guess it's up to him if he wants to see me again." I said smirking

"Well you'll definitely tell us once you've heard from him right?" Jade asked

"Of course I will, you both are my best friends. We tell each other everything." I said

"Well let's go home and leave our groceries." Jade said

"Let's go!" Amber said finishing her smoothie

We threw our smoothies in the bin and went home
