Chapter 11

Amber's POV

I went to go sit with Jade and Debby

"Amber!!!" Jade said hugging me

I turned to look at Debby and she had her arms crossed

"Heeeyyyyy Deb..." I said

"Hello." She said all business like

I let out a laugh and Jade followed with a giggle

I was positive that I saw Deb's straight smile curve a little but she was still trying to be serious so I stopped

"Where have you been?!" Debby said

"Why don't I tell you a story?" I said

"Oo!!! What story?" Jade asked trying to ease the tension

"Of how I drowned." I said

"OMG! You drowned?!" Debby said giving me a hug

"Haha I knew that would make you forgive me."

We let out a few giggles

"Ok. So tell us what happened."

I told them everything that happened

"Oh my God! Are you ok??" Debby exclaimed

"Yeah Charles helped me." I said blushing a bit

"Wow seems like someone really likes a certain someone." Jade said teasingly

"Yeah but I don't know. I mean when I was drowning I really thought that he'd be the one to save me but it wasn't him it was Alex."

"Is this guy Alex cute?" Jade asked

"Yeah! Super major hottie."

"Hahaha. Leave it to Amber to always think about cute guys even after she had a life or death situation." Debby said

"Hey! You just gotta love me!!" I said smiling

"Hehehe we do." Jade said

"Alright! Enough about me. Who's next?"

No one spoke up

"Hmmm. I'm making Deb go first."

"What? Whyyyy?" Deb whined which made us laugh

"So much for your serious face a while ago." Jade said

We laughed

"'Cuz you seem to have something on your mind." I said

"Yeah you told me that you'd tell me once Amber gets back."

"Alright fine I'm busted. I'll talk."

"Yay!" I shouted

Debby's POV

So I told them everything that happened with Jeff but I didn't tell them about the talk that Ryan and I had

I don't know why I didn't tell them

I guess I just wanted to keep that talk just between Ryan and me

"Ohh... It's ok Deb!" Amber said

"Yeah. Jeff will totally regret what he said." Jade said

"Totally. I mean you're fun, loving, beautiful, smart and many more amazing things, Deb. You don't need him." Amber said hugging me on my right side

"Yeah totally." Jade said hugging me on my left side

"Thanks guys but I really think that it's also my fault. He totally tried to start some conversations but you know me being me, I ruined it." I said breaking their hug and covering my face with my hands

"Look I'll be straight with you Deb, I know that you aren't the best with guys but this is what this break is for. It's about us changing and trying to be someone else." Jade said

"She's right you know Deb." Amber said

"I'll try to be better. Much more confident."

"That's the way Deb!" Amber said

"Alright. Jade's turn!" I practically shouted

"Alright! Alright! Fine!" Jade said

I think she gave up without a fight because she probably knows that I don't want to talk about my "issue" anymore.

Jade's POV

I told them everything that happened

"So what do you think that drink thing meant?" I asked

"Hmm I don't know. It could be that he's showing you that he likes you." Debby said

"Yeah I mean that's like and INDIRECT kiss!" Amber squealed

I blushed

"I guess only time will tell." Debby said

"Guess so." I said

"Wow so a lot of things happened today!" Amber said

"Yeah. Quite a lot." Debby said

"Anyway I'm starving!" I groaned

"Haha you always are!" Debby said

"Come on! Let's go ask the guys how the fire's going." Amber said

We walked over to were the guys were
