Debby's POV
To my excitement I woke up at 8 in the morning failing on trying to go back to sleep, I went to the bathroom and got myself ready. After taking bath, I decided on wearing my yellow tank top with my denim shorts together with my yellow flip flops. I tied my brown wavy hair into a messy ponytail and checked what time it was. It was already 9 in morning when I went down.
When I got down I saw a note taped into a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts saying
Debby, I already went to work. Why don't you and your friends enjoy the day in the beach. Here is the key to the car and some money.
Love, Dad
Okay... I already knew that my dad wouldn't be around much this summer because of work so I'm not too bummed out.
Amber came down all hyper about the day. She wore her pink tank top with white shorts and brown flip flops and had her blonde curly hair down.
"Goooood mornin'!!!" Amber said all cheerfully
"Hey. So what time are going to the beach?"
"Hmm how bout later this afternoon?"
"Yeah. Mmmm theses doughnuts are DEEEELISH!" I exclaimed
We both laughed and ate our doughnuts
Jade entered the kitchen yawing
"Good morning"
"Good morning sleepyhead" Amber said
Checking my phone for the time, I saw it was already half past 10
"Get dressed Jade, we're going to the mall first to grab some food and groceries. Then we're hitting the beach." I said
"Alright just wait a moment." Jade said already going up to her room
After 30 mins Jade came down wearing her floral white tank top with black denim shorts and white flip flops and had wore a silver sparkling hairband over her red straight hair.
"Ready!" Jade exclaimed
"Let's get going!" I exclaimed grabbing the keys to the car and the locking the house.

Ryan's POV
I woke up later than I expected it was already half past 10 in the morning so i quickly grabbed my red round-neck shirt that had a huge Mickey Mouse in front and my blue jeans and took a bath.
After I took a bath, I wore my white Converse shoes and went down stairs.
It was already 11 when I was finished and to my surprise I saw Jeff and Charles in the couch all dressed up and watching the TV
"Morning!" Jeff exclaimed. He wore a white V-neck shirt and black jeans with black and blue checkered Vans shoes
"Guess I'm not the only one who can sleep late around here." Charles said laughing. Probably amused by his own little joke. He wore a grey round-neck shirt and black pants with grey sneakers.
"Ha-ha. Very funny. Shall we go?" I said
"Where are we going first?" Jeff asked
"We're hitting the mall first to grab some welcoming gifts for our new door neighbors." I said
"Cool while we're there, let's go to the supermarket and grab some food first." Jeff said
"Well what are we waiting for?! Lets go!!" Charles exclaimed
I grabbed the keys to the car and locked the front door.

Debby's POV
When we finally arrived at the mall, we went straight to the supermarket.
"All right. Let's split up and each take a cart then we'll meet in the cashier once we're done. Now we'll use our phones to keep contact." I said grabbing a cart
"Alrighty then." Amber said grabbing her cart
"Let's go!" Jade exclaimed grabbing her cart
I started going through all the stalls and stopped in the snacks section
I left my cart and started getting as much junk food as i could
I stopped and tried getting my favorite snack, Lays, from the top shelf and since I was like 5'2 i couldn't reach it.
After a few minutes, i still tried getting the snack, determined that I'll get it.
A guy came over and started helping me get it.
He was about 5'4 and wore a white V-neck shirt, which fitted him perfectly, black jeans, and black and blue checkered shoes.
"What snack do u want?" He asked
"Lays please."
"What flavor?"
"Sour cream"
"How many?"
"Just one. Oh and the big one please"
He got down and brought down two bags of Lays and gave me one
"Thanks." I said
"Are these good?"
"Yeah you should try them! They're my favorite!"
"Okay. I'll try them out and see for myself."
"Great! You'll love them! I assure you."
"So what happens if I don't?"
"Hmm I guess I'll have to do anything you want"
"Anything?" He said jokingly
"How bout I'll treat you to dinner?"
"Dinner sounds good." He said smirking
"So here's my number. Call me when you're ready to treat me to dinner." I said handing him a paper with my number on it
"I think you mean YOUR treat to dinner." He said jokingly while walking away
"Later!" He shouted
"Bye." I muttered staring at him
You see I'm not the flirty type kind of girl. I'm actually quite the opposite. I'm shy around boys and the only time I go out or talk to one is when Amber makes me go on double dates with her. She's more of the going out type while I'm more of a shy, quite, book loving type.
So I decided that this summer was going to different. It was going to be a new me this summer. The kind that is bolder and talks to guys and the paper that I just gave the cute guy proved it
