Kingdom of Naugus

The feeling of each and every royal guard in the castle was indescribable. A pretender entered their kingdom, their castle, and there wasn't a thing they could do about it. By this time, half the kingdom knew of Elias' resigning of the throne. Some didn't believe it, but most knew the true story. Naugus was the new king, fair and square.

Each guard stood to attention as Naugus, Geoffrey, Lightning Lynx and Espio passed them on their way to the throne room. A bright grin crawled across the wizard's face, well knowing all of this was finally his. All of the emanates he saw as taken for granted by Elias, finally belong to him.

"Your throne is this way, my king." Geoffrey swayed his hand forward, as they continued to follow the skunk. As they continued to walk, Naugus leaned back to whisper to Lightning.
"Okay seriously, who is this guy?" He cluelessly questioned.
"The royal advisor of the king. Geoffrey St. John." Lightning whispered back.
"Advisor? Wonderful! This day just gets better and better!" Naugus chuckled at his insane amount of luck.

They four finally stopped at a large set of double doors, watching as Geoffrey turned his back to face the group.
"My king, I present to you, your new throne." He smiled, as the two massive doors were opened by another couple of guards. Naugus watched in awe, as the Gold and red velvet throne slowly came into view. Even Espio himself was shocked to see the room. He himself had only been inside the room once before, though it was brief as he was only there for business reasons.

"Here you are, sire." Geoffrey lead the massive man to the chair, to which he immediately sprang and sat upon.
"Ah, yes! Finally! Years and years of waiting, for this very day! It's good to be king." He laughed to himself, causing Espio to roll his eyes in frustration.
As Naugus finished celebrating, he cleared his throat, and turned back to his two new guards.
"Lightning, and.. Chameleon.. guy... you two, fetch me my new prisoner." His demeanor went back to professional.

Lightning Lynx bowed in obedience, as Espio just sighed to himself in anguish. The two then did as ordered, and exited the throne room to retrieve Nicole. As the only two left in the room, silence began to fill the air. Naugus for some reason felt a slight... discomfort. For why, he did not know. That was, until he looked at Geoffrey. Who had his back to the wizard, facing the double doors.

"Umm... what are you still doing here?" Naugus asked the skunk.
"I am your advisor, as the Lynx explained. My job is to stay by your side and do as asked." He dryly spoke, just doing his normal day to day job.

"Oh. Well, leave my presence. Go.. reset the defenses or something." Naugus waved Geoffrey away, just to relieve himself of the awkward discomfort he felt.
Geoffrey's only reply, was a strange look he shot at Naugus.
"Did I stutter? Go!" Naugus then sighed.
Geoffrey finally did as asked, and began to walk towards the opened doors. That was, until Lightning and Espio returned. Walking before them, was Nicole, bound by glowing blue hand cuffs that held both of her forearms. A glowing blue wire ran up the cuffs, and connected to a matching grey metal collar.

"Your prisoner." Lightning again bowed.
"Ah, yes." Naugus' evil grin showcased his disgusting teeth. Lightning then looked forward, and noticed Nicole hadn't yet bowed.
"Bow before your ruler, witch!" He harshly addressed the AI, kick the back of her knees. The girl slightly moaned in pain as her knees hit the marble floor. She slowly lifted her head up, looking at Naugus with pure hate.

"Aw, why the long face? You should be excited! You have a new king! How is that not exciting?" Naugus leaned forward, his face being only inches away from her nose.
"This won't end well for you." She snarkily spoke, slightly surprising the four in the room. Naugus' smile then dropped to a hateful frown.
