The forecast had called for light showers for the evening, although throughout the evening, the rain continued to pour heavier and heavier. The entire city of New Mobotropolis was cascaded in the heavy moisture from the sky. As expected, most saw it as a reason to stay indoors. However, most people weren't the Freedom Fighters. The rebellious group saw this rainy night as the best opportunity they'd have to save their people from Naugus' wrath.

Guards were posted at each tower of every wall. There was no way in or out of the castle gates without them knowing. And worst of all, spotlights now peppered the walls. But if there was any possible way at all inside, the Knothole Freedom Fighters would find it.

"Everybody knows their places, right?" The southern rabbit spoke, as she hid behind a thick tree in her dark black poncho.
"Got it, Bunnie." Rotor, the genius walrus loudly whispered in agreement.
"I know v'ere to go, my gour'jous flowe'hr." The Frenchman with the sword replied.

As Bunnie looked around at the rest of her crew, they each nodded in understanding.
"Alright team, steal the wizard's staff, then get out as fast as y'all can!" The southern rabbit once again spoke to her well hidden allies, as they each finally spread out to their part of the plan.

Bunnie stood completely still in the same hiding spot, patiently waiting for her part of the plan to commence. She clicked on the power button of her com-link headset, and ducked down even lower to avoid the rotating spotlights.

But while she saw the giant tower light pivot to the far right, that's where she saw Antoine, her husband, creeping his way up to the bottom of the tower. He snuck his way through the soaking wet brush and shrubs, though the covering from his black poncho could handle most of the cold.

Antoine finally made his way out of view of the light, had it even looked in his direction. His path was clear, he just had to be fast. With no view or attention on him, Antoine sprinted up to the massive wall, pressing his back flat along its brick to avoid detection.

"I've reached ze south wall." He quietly spoke into his small microphone.
"Team two has approached the east wall." Another team leader spoke.
"I read y'all loud and clear. Proceed with caution." Bunnie replied, standing up from her hiding spot behind the bushes. She too leapt from the wooded area, and began to make her way to Antoine's spot.

"Okay Freedom Fighters, let's make Sally proud—

FLICK!

Bunnie stopped in place while running, as bright white lights peppered her every surroundings. She was confused at the sudden change of atmosphere. What was happening?

"Bunnie Rabbot, second in command of the Knothole Freedom Fighters." A voice was then heard from the darkness. She frantically looked around for the source of the voice.

But then right before her, a pink chameleon appeared, deactivating his invisibility. Espio stood before her in front of the lights, with his arms crossed across his chest.
"By the order of the Iron Queen, you're under arrest for acts of conspiracy and revolt." A small amount of remorse could be heard in his voice, almost as if he didn't want to do as asked.

Before Bunnie could say another word, more chameleons had appeared in front of her very eyes. Each of them, armed sith bladed weapons. And little did she know, she wasn't the only one to be caught.
"Abort mission! I repeat, abort mission!" Another team leader called out.
"They knew we were coming!" Rotor loudly spoke in a panic on his microphone.

"Please come quietly." Espio finally finished his spill of orders, slowly approaching Bunnie.

She couldn't believe what was happening. There was no way out. The atmosphere was perfect, how could Naugus had know they were coming? Unless.. he purposely set a trap to get rid of the Freedom Fighters..?
