Chapter 9: Happy 4th in New York

It's finally getting closer to august. Closer to me starting my college experience. Closer to me being a music teacher for the next generation! I just can't wait!

All the kids getting to escape from reality to do something they love! It's what we got to do with glee. I'm just hoping I can do the same. Guess we'll find out in the future.

Today is the girls first 4th of July. We have them all dressed up in a single color each. It was Snixx's idea honestly. Santana let her come out since everything's been going on.

I honestly have missed Snixx some. She's not that bad to have around. She just can be a little much sometimes. But she is apart of Santana and we love them both.

"Red baby incoming!" I turn to see Rachel holding Amelia "Wheres the white and blue ones?"

"With Snixx" I tickle Amelia's belly and she giggles "Is Beth in all three for pictures yet?"

"Yep!" Shelby comes in holding Beth "Its why we are looking for the others"

"Right here!" Snixx walks in with mom holding The twins "Just spending some much needed time with my girls"

"Remember we still would like Santana at some point too" She nods and we head to the back door "Let's see if Holly and Mari got the set up done"

We walk outside to see a pretend beach "Hey!" Alma walks over with a smile "Hows the family doing?"

"You all are over every day" Shelby hands her Beth and smiles "Shes grown to you"

"I love it" Alma smiles wider "I love my grand babies!"

"Let's get the photos done!" Mari fans herself and looks over at us "It's hot and I wanna soak in the pool!"

We walk over and start the pictures. It's a process with the girls but it's fun. We get a bunch of family ones before stopping. I think they turned out great.

We walk back inside when there's a knock on the door. I share a confused look with everyone else. We didn't invite anyone. We haven't met too many people.

I walk over quickly and open the door. My jaw drops at the surprise guest. Standing at the door is Brittany, Sugar, and Cherry. That's less shocking than who's behind them.

"I assume she's here?" I look at the lady confused "Alice is here yes?"

"Hello sister" I turn around and see Alice "Can't just let happy be happy can you?"

"Twins?" I look between the two "You are twins!"

"Jane nice to meet you" She looks back to Alice "Is she ok?"

"I'm not incompetent" Alice walks over and gives Jane a hug "Great to see you sis"

"You too" They break the hug and Jane looks at me "Can we come in?"

"Yeah" I look at the trio who look away awkwardly "I don't if I should be happy about the surprise visit or mad at the fact you brought her without telling us"

"WHAT?!" We all quickly run inside to see a confused Rachel "So which one of you is my grandma?!"

"Jane is biologically your grandma" Alice sighs "I was given custody over you mom though"

"But I count them both as my mom" Shelby smiles happily "I'm glad you came"

"So who did I first flirt with?" Alma looks so confused right now "Did I flirt with Jane or Alice?"

"They thought I was Jane but no it was me" Alice gives a sad smile toward her girlfriends "I'm a twin...this doesn't hurt us at all does it? I'm still the girl you've been with!"
