Chapter 14

-Shelby pov-
Today we have been summoned to have dinner at Fran and Emma's house. It's the first time we've really been there. It's great to see mom and momma getting along though. They seem to have gotten everything back on track.

Everyone seems to be happy right now. Judy has been warming up to the dancing classes. She's actually learned more than us. Lucy has slowly started to get ready for the baby.

Judy wasn't exactly ready for that news. I forgot to tell her and Lucy went about it like she knew. Hindsight it was funny but in the moment...it was not. But that's the past.

Currently we are on the way to the house. I feel like we are the only ones who don't know. The moms seem to know something. It's bugs for some reason.

"We are here" I look up and see we are parked in front of a nice house "Let's go"

"Am I the only one worried?" I look at everyone as we get out "I mean this got my mom and momma back to being friends"

"I like Grandaunt Alice and grandma Jane being friends" Rachel smiles "It's good for everyone"

"I guess" I sigh and look toward the front door "I just don't like that we are the last ones arriving"

We walk to the front door and knock "HANG ON!" There's the sound of rushing footsteps and then the door opens "Hello! Hey momma!"

"Hello Fran!" Judy hugs Fran "Lovely home! Would've loved to see it sooner"

"I know" They break apart and Fran motions us in "come on! Hey Rachel we got that karaoke machine finally hooked up!"

Rachel is immediately inside "Hang on a second" I see my mom and momma talking happily "We came to lea~"
