| I need to be clear, JJ is not the bitchy ex. She just might still have a thing for Emily. |

"Hi, sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier Agent Hotchner." I held out my hand, offering to shake his.

"No need, and please, just call me Hotch." He didn't look up from the papers on his desk.

"Oh okay... It's very nice to meet you. I have heard great things about you and your team."

This conversation was slowly getting awkward. I adjusted my collar, which was already loose, and tried to nonchalantly wipe the sweat from the back of my neck.

"I am not in charge here. No one is. This is a team effort and I want you to know that your opinion is just as important as anyone else's. I pride myself on listening to everyones' voices so I better hear yours when we get up to Franklin."

I nodded, "Yes, sir."

He nodded back and walked out of the office. I unbuttoned my blazer and placed my hands on the edge of the desk, leaning forward and stretching. This day wasn't going easy on my sensitive stomach.

"Are you coming?" Hotch asked, walking into the room again.

I shot back up, "Yes, sorry, yes." I hustled out of the office as fast as I could.

Why do I always embarrass myself all the time?

Following everyone to the runway, I caught Jennifer staring at me again. I decided to walk over to her and try to spark conversation.

"Hi, JJ right?"

"Yes, hi. It's so great to have you on our team." JJ smiled and put a hand on my shoulder as we walked.

This is good, this is good.

"Thank you so much. It's an honor to be here. I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone."

"I think Morgan's looking forward to that too," she laughed, "He hits on every living thing in his reach. He did the same with me and Emily too."

"I can tell he's a player." We both giggled and started up the steps into the jet.

She's so nice.

I took a seat across from JJ in hopes of getting to know her better. It would be nice to have at least one real friend, even if she was Emily's ex. I still wasn't sure about that part though. Garcia joined us as well, sitting next to the blonde.

Okay, this is it. Real bonding time. I can't mess this up.

"This plane is fancier than my mug collection. Why would you ever leave!" Penelope babbled.

"Remember the time we got on board and they hadn't chilled the cristal?" Emily said, grinning.

Penelope raised her eyebrows.

Emily chuckled, "That was a joke Pen. We don't actually have champagne on the jet."

"I wouldn't be surprised," I motioned around the room, "This is pretty fuckin' nice."

Emily sat down next to me, the boys sitting at the other end of the plane.

"Tell us about yourself!"

I looked at them, "Me?"

"No, I'm asking the other brand new agent. Yes, you!" Garcia exclaimed.

"Oh, there's not much to tell. Before this, I worked undercover exposing terrorists and Interpol was my first real government job. I'm used to living in Europe, so it's nice to settle down in the US I guess."
