Month of the year: April  Time: 1:32 PM

The rain is pouring outside Baltimore. Thunder vibrates the windows and their hot cups of coffee, making Alex fidget when he hears it boom, causing him some mess on the paper he writes. "Great."

Krista walks back carrying the box in her hands with a donut on her mouth. She props down on the sofa across from him, chewing it and looking at him write. "Done yet?"

"No. I don't know what to add anymore. I give up."

"Let me see." She takes the sheet of paper on the table, but Alex suddenly grabs it from her with his lips pressed together, with eyes widening. "No."

"Come on, let me see. It has to be some song."

He decides to stand up with a pencil on his ear and clutching the paper in his left. "It is."

"Well, let me look."

Alex takes a donut from the box and walks for his room. "I said no, Krista. It's a surprise."

She decides to stand up and paces to get the paper in his hand. "Surprises. Surprises. Just let me take a peek or something. I can probably help you, you know."

She snatches the paper from him and runs. Krista goes around the table, reading the first lines of the song loudly while Alex paces after her. "It was a...hot summer day when I saw you face...You creep from...Ah! Jesus...the dark to catch me."

Alex swears under his breath making the woman laugh. "They say that you're...invisible, but to me you're more- Hey!"

He grabs her arm and snatches it from her and paces back for his room. "I said no."

Krista begins to beam and walk after him as he shuts the door. "Stop the surprises, you idiot, I have feeling it's for me." She presses her ear against the door and hears him muttering something. Krista turns around and back for the box to grab another donut and sees their cups of coffee lazily on the table. She rolls her eyes at this. "Alex, you're coffee's gonna get cold if you won't get out."

"You can have it."

Then a huge lightning begins to thunder murderously again. "Fuck!"

Month of the year: June  Time: 4:59 PM

She has never felt so free in a long time. She raises her feet from the pedals, the bike moving downhill from the slop on its own and she screams while holding unto the handlebars ever tightly. Krista's terrified though, but she shouts that away with Kat, Stephen, Jack and all her friends, with their bikes jumping from the large bumps and wind on their faces until they reach to the bottom of the hill laughing and shouting. She turns to look at Kat and them high-fiving in the air, both howling.

"Jesus Christ, Alex!"

Krista looks up, and finds him...still standing at the top with Jessica. He just looks down at them, and she laughs when all of them turn around and see who everyone is looking at that.

"Would you look at that?"

"Come one, dude. Get down from there! You're missing everything!"

"Sissy!"

"Chicken!"

Then for a few seconds later everyone is calling out "chicken" at him in a chorus. Krista smiles as he sees him talking to Jessica, and she doesn't know for what reason but just...laughs. She's supposed to cheer for him, or encourage him, or give him some advice, but Krista just stands there laughing at him. She's going to hate herself after this.

She sees Jessica pushing Alex as he shakes his head, and he slides down, zooming as tries to control the pedals. Oh my God, this can not be good. "Alex, stop trying to pedal. You're going to fall!"

But he continues, and when he reaches the large bump near the bottom of the hill, he jumps and lands flat on the grassy ground. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Krista rushes toward him and she takes his helmet off his head. He sees him grimace, holding his knee, and then suddenly everyone rushes toward them and then they makes a circle around the two.

"Oh my God, should I call 911?"

"Is he hurt?"

"He's hurt, duh. What would you expect, some laughing?"

"Guys, just shut up."

Krista holds his face and looks him in the eye. "Alex. Alex, are you okay?"

She sees him shifts his head, and he whimpers when he moves his foot. "Call 911."

They sit there with the rest, watching the fireworks exploding in the sky- red, blue and white blasting and bursting above them. There were ohs and ahs from the audience, and no one takes there eyes looking at the atmosphere, the woman leaning breathlessly her head on his shoulder.
