She crosses her legs after placing the take-out McDonalds spaghetti, some slices of ham, and her homemade salad on the floor and goes to Skype. She smiles when she sees her sister online, and seconds later she is in front of their table, her whole family there, smiling and waving at her.
She feels suddenly homesick. Her brother, who still looks the same, turns the laptop or the webcam, to face him and asks how she is and tells them she's fine and suddenly all her siblings are in front of the screen and tells her how she's grown and asks to give them a tour in her apartment again. Krista holds her laptop, wiping the tears with the sleeves of her sweater, and goes around the place and tells them that she had a mini Christmas tree on the living room and other stuff that has been going on.
When she looks back at the screen, Krista hears her older brother yelling a loud Merry Christmas.
