Days after Christmas: 4  Time: 9:00 AM

She wakes up to the sound of her alarm clock beeping and beeping until she plugged the thing off, dozing back to sleep again after the party they had at Kat's house.

Ugh.........

Time: 12:13 PM

It's a bright, sun shining day in New York City. Well, the streets are still covered in snow, but the point is the woman is holding her ticket for the Philippines to celebrate New Year there, all thanks to her friends.

Krista walks back to her apartment, taking conscious steps and counts them one by one, and reaches her door when she's on one hundred and thirty-six. She places her keys on the counter with her ticket, taking her boots off and lounges herself on the sofa to watch television.

She has decided to move on, and live her life the way it should be. She decides to forget about that...Alex Gaskarth, and live her life as a free, young, woman. She also reminds herself to look for college applications like Cornell University, or Hunter College or even try Brown...that would seem impossible, but anyway still worth a try. She presses the button of her remote to change the channel from the commercial on matresses, but it won't seem to-

Krista hears a bookfalling in her bedroom.

She edges from the sofa and hears some muttering in the room, and decides to slowly grab the bottle that sits on the floor. "Hello?"

She stands up holding the glass tight and making silent steps, peeking from the ajar door and suddenly sees a person's shadow moving. The woman grips the bottle tight and is ready to hit him hard on the bed like a batter getting ready in a baseball game before pushing the door open. Krista takes deep breaths...to relax herself. One...two...three...four...five...

She pushes the door open and swings the bottle, but instead it hits empty space. Krista stands straight and blinks her eyes in astonishment, with the audience laughing from a joke on the background from the television. How odd. She's sure that she saw someone inside. Or... is he just hiding? The woman turns her head to her closet and grips the bottle tight. She walks toward it and swings the doors open to find...huh? There's something entirely wrong with her head.

She walks back to her living room and throws the bottle in the bin. Krista plops herself back on the sofa- "Jack?"

He closes his eyes, his lips pressed firmly together and curses himself. "Wha-what are you doing here? How did you get in?"

The man opens his eyes in renouncement and gives her a constrained smile. "Krista! Hi! I..didn't know that...you live here? Wow, what a coincidence. Jeez. So, wow, I'm sorry. Um...I better go now." She snatches his elbow for him to turn around and she smacks him on the arm repeatedly. She knew she's not crazy. "What. Are. You. Doing. Here. Please. Explain. Your. Self-

"Okay, okay. Just God, stop."

She lets go of his elbow and looks at him lividly.  He sighs in resignation. "So, okay. I'm here because...remember a week ago, where you're boyfriend told me...

"We're done."

"...about the two of you- What?!"

She crosses her arms. "Yeah, we're done. Just...just continue what you're going to say."

"So, um, I told Alex that we're going to surprise you or something and I didn't know where you are because you moved and then I asked Kat, where you live, and...a-are you sure you and Callan-

"It's Callum, and yeah I broke up with him. He's just a total asshole. Why? And...why are you smiling like that?"

Jack beams and starts to take out his phone. "Oh man, he's gonna love this."
