Tenebris's eyelids fluttered open for the first time since the Manberg vs. Pogtopia battle. This was an unfamiliar place but they lay comfortably in a soft bed covered in blankets. Pushing off the blankets, Tenebris rubbed their eyes and looked around. It was a small room but quite cozy. There was a large emerald block in the room with a bell on top of it which Tenebris found quite strange.

Swinging their stiff legs over the side of their bed, they saw their legs completely wrapped in bandages. Tenebris sat on the bed in deep confusion and realized their arms had been wrapped too. Their head also felt oddly light, like their head would tip over to the left at any time.

"What the hell?" Tenebris quietly said to theirself as they examined their arms and legs. They dug through their mind, trying to find anything that would explain their current state, but found nothing. But they still remembered everything about Jschaltt although they felt like something was missing. With a heavy sigh, Tenebris stood up and nearly collapsed to the floor but caught themselves with the nightstand. Groaning, Tenebris dragged themselves to the staircase and slowly descended the staircase with careful steps.

"Hello?" 

Tenebris yelped and fell to the floor. They were grateful that they had gotten to the bottom of the stairs before they had fallen. Pale pink hair peeked out a trapdoor along with pink-red eyes. Techno's eyes lit up and he practically leapt up the ladder. Rushing to your side, he helped you up and gave you a hug.

"You're awake!" Techno exclaimed with a large smile plastered on his face. But Tenebris blankly stared back, blinking in confusion. Techno's smile faltered and he tilted his head. 

"Tenebris? You ok?" Techno slowly asked, slightly shaking their shoulder.

"Excuse me if this is rude but," Tenebris's eyebrows furrowed in concern, "Who are you?" Techno's hand hovered over Tenebris's shoulder, his eyes filling with worry. Did the explosion give them amnesia? They had some head injuries but nothing major. 

"Are you," Techno stepped back, "being serious? Tenebris, don't mess with me like this,"

Tenebris opened their mouth to say something but their lips tugged up and Tenebris snickered. Techno looked at Tenebris blankly until Tenebris wiped a tear from their eye and smiled.

"I can't believe you fell for that! You should've seen your face, it was hilarious!!" Tenebris laughed but ended up coughing and doubling over in pain, "You got any water?" 

"Why should I get you any? I can't believe you tricked me like that, it wasn't funny," Techno huffed and crossed his arms. Tenebris hit Techno's stomach with the side of their hand, making him cough.

"You bastard," Tenebris choked, "It was extremely funny just so you know. I'll go eat some snow from outside," Tenebris dragged theirself to the door but Techno pulled them back and handed them some water.

"You're nasty, why would go eat snow?" Techno looked at Tenebris in disgust but Tenebris grinned and chugged down the glass of water. From outside there was a whinny, making both Techno and Tenebris look out the window. Tenebris's eyes lit up and they flung open the door, running to the side of the house.

"Tenebris get back here! It's freezing out and you're still injured!!" Techno yelled at them, running after them. Tenebris stumbled in the snow but kept going, turning the corner. They laughed and kicked up the snow behind them, hitting Techno in the face. "Hey!" Techno spat out the snow and wiped his face. 

"Woah, woah! Calm down, it's ok!" a panicked Philza said, desperately trying to get a horse under control. The horse reared up and nearly kicked Philza in the chest.
