The sky was blue. The sun's bright shined this New York City. This was still autumn. But it will be winter soon.

Again, I was with Jayden. He invited me to stroll with him. Pfft, lately, he often invited me to stroll. I didn't know why. But I always accepted it. I spent 17 years at home, and I don't want it to grow to be 18 years. So, I accepted Jayden's invitation.

Jayden and I were sitting on the park bench. We were eating ice cream, like kids.

"Jay, you know that I don't like strawberry. Why did you buy me strawberry ice cream?"

"Because I like chocolate," answered him.

"But you can buy me one just like you."

"It's the last."

He really enjoyed his ice cream. Meanwhile I haven't eaten it yet at all. I bit my lower lip as I turned my back on him. I was really upset at him. I don't like strawberry and he brought me it. He could buy me vanilla, mango, or matcha, right? Why should strawberry?

"Jay, I'm mad at you!" I spoke up.

"Jay? Are you still alive?"

"Are you deaf?!" I turned back my body to see him.

But, he didn't exist. So I stared around.

"Where are you, Jay?" I stood up instantly.

Moments later....

"I'm here." He was behind me, I don't know how.

He put on a necklace on my neck. So I stared at the pendant. It was not my old necklace. The pendant was a blooming white lily. So beautiful.

After he put on the necklace, he hugged my waist as he put her jaw on my shoulder.

"Lily. You look like a lily. You're sincere, like a white lily. But you're always depressed, like an orange lily meaning. Don't be insecure, depressed, and stressed over. I'm confused, why do you feel ugly, whereas you're gorgeous. I'm here, to love you, all my life."

I gulped. I couldn't say anything.

"But...." He paused. "I have gotta go to Chicago tomorrow."

I felt like the air was lost suddenly. I wondered about many things. But I was speechless.

"That's why I always invite you to meet me."

"Why do you tell me now? Why don't you tell me at least yesterday?" I said quietly.

"Sorry. I don't wanna make you feel sad."

"You're wrong." At that instant, I cried.

"I will depart at 3 am. Don't go to the airport, just sleep tightly."

"So you want this to be our last meeting?!" I said it out loud.

"We can meet again. Someday."

I began sobbing. "Please don't go, Jay. Can I be selfish just at this time?"

"I wanna stay here too, but I have to go. And it doesn't mean I will leave you forever. I'll be back."

"What if you really leave and forget me?"
