The strong winds blew as it swept my skin. I opened my eyes, confusing why the air in my bedroom was cold. I stared around, it wasn't my bedroom, I was still at the bus stop.
There was someone beside me. I didn't know why my head leaned on his shoulder. I turned my head to see him.
"J-jay?" My eyes widened.
He smiled. "Hi."
"Why are you here?"
He shrugged. I didn't care anymore. I touched my neck, thinking that I just dreamed I had lost my necklace.
"Do you steal my necklace?"
"Why I should steal a necklace?"
"Ugh I really lost it."
"Is it precious?" He asked.
I nodded. "My friend gave it to me." I lied.
"If I were your friend, I must mad at you."
I nodded slowly. "I know."
"Be patient." He embraced me as he clapped my shoulder.
The rain hasn't stopped yet, even heavier. My mom must worry about me.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"You think? No one's around us, and no vehicle passes by."
I automatically stood up, intending to run, but he held my arm, preventing me from going.
"Wait."
He took his black jacket off. Fortunately, he wore a t-shirt too. He stood up beside me as he protected us with his jacket.
"Let's go."
Then we ran as long as the sidewalk, against the cold, without saying any words. Even though we used a jacket to protect us, sooner or later we got soaked.
"Are you chilly?" He asked.
"A bit." I muttered.
"Hold on, ok? We're almost there."
I nodded.
"Sorry." He added.
I looked up. "What for?"
He only smiled as he shook his head. What a weird thing. He made me more wondering, and apprehensive.
Jayden really cared for me. I needed to know why he did. He was the first person who cared for me after my family. Ugh, did you think he cared?
"Jay, you should get back home."
"What are you talking about? We're neighbors."
"What? Since when?" I was shocked.
Jayden chuckled. "Since four months ago."
I've gone too far. First, I didn't know he was my classmate, second I introduced myself in fact he already knew, and third, I didn't know that he was my neighbor.
"I'm sorry 'bout that."
"I quite understand. You prefer being alone, don't you?"
"I don't prefer it. That's the only option."
Jayden was quiet for a while. "If so, now you have two options. Being alone, or with me."

The weather this morning was sunny. But I felt a chill. So I wore a sweater to warm my body and also hid my incision.
Now I was sitting on my chair. While my classmates were outside the classroom, I chose to be alone, not because I was afraid if I suddenly meet Liam, honestly yes, but that was not the main reason. The main reason was... I got a fever, and I couldn't move a lot. Moments later, I heard someone knocked at the window. I turned my head to the sound. Why was he here?
"Come on!" He muttered.
"Me?" I only moved my mouth with that word, and he nodded.
Then I walked out of the class hesitantly.
"Why?" I asked.
"I just wanna meet you." Jayden smiled sweetly. Damn! I could get diabetes instantly.
"I'm serious, Jay! Why did you come?" I pretended to be serious, in fact my heart beat abnormally, an... I was glad.
"Two options."
That was brief, but I could understand the meaning.
I smiled slightly. "So?"
"So, let's fill our stomachs." Jayden tugged me to the canteen. And it made many people looked at us with awful gaze. No, not at us, but rather me.
When we were in the canteen, we ordered some food to fill our stomachs. Then we sat across, eating our food together.
I ate my sandwich heartily. And suddenly Jayden ruffled the crown of my head slowly.
I automatically stopped eating, keeping my head down, feeling my heart throbbed.
"Is it delicious? So you eat it heartily?"
I nodded slowly, making him chuckled.
"Why is this girl adorable?" He muttered but I could hear it, making my heart throb even more.
"Lily. I'm bursting, wait a minute, okay? Stay here!"
I looked up then nodded, staring at him ran to the toilet.
After that, I continued eating my sandwich. But seconds later, someone clapped on my shoulder. I turned my head, but when I knew that 'twas Liam, I ignored him, choosing to continue eating.
"Hi sweetie." Ugh repulsive!
"Can I join you?"
I remembered what Emma and Nathalie said yesterday. I had to fight him. Break a leg, Lily!
"Stay away from me!" I gave him a pointed look.
"How dare you, babe?" He raised my chin, so our eyes met.
I didn't want to lose, so I slammed his hands. "Get your filthy pig knuckle off my skin!"
I bit my sandwich again and chewed it.
"Don't be sanctimonious, bitch!" Liam pulled out my hair as he strangled my neck, making me stood up instantly.
I haven't swallowed my sandwich, and Liam really strangled me mercilessly.
People watched me, they recorded me instead of helping me. I looked around, Emma, Nathalie, and Jayden weren't here.
"How? Are you feeling better?"
My tears flew down, my neck hurt, I couldn't breathe well. I choked repeatedly, so my food went down into my throat, not into my esophagus.
I wished Jayden would come as soon as possible.
And seconds later, he did. He hit Liam's face and slammed him to the ground.
I almost fell too if Jayden didn't catch my body. He embraced me tightly.
"You are safe now. Don't worry."
"Jay."
That was the last word I said before my vision was blurred, and after, I didn't know what happened.
