Chapter 1

Lucas's POV: I just woke up. Not very happy cause school is back. Junior year, let's do this. I took a quick shower and got dressed. I left my room and knocked.. ok kinda punched my brother's door. I went in and he was still asleep

Lucas: Come on man! It's 7:30! Let's go! - I opened his curtains

Toby: Duuuuddeee - he put his pillow on his face

Lucas: Come on dude. First day of school! 5th grade

Toby: Exactly! - I slapped his feet. He got up quickly and jumped on me. I started tickling and threw him on his bed - Ok! Ok! Truce! Truce!

Lucas: That's what I thought. What do you want for breakfast?

Toby: Eggs and bacon?

Lucas: Sure. Get dressed, come on - I left his room and went downstairs. There was a note on the table "Hey guys, I had to go earlier. Sorry. Have a nice day." - Thanks Brian

I made some breakfast, Toby eventually came downstairs. We ate, then it was time to go.

Lucas: You want a ride or you're taking the bus?

Toby: Hm if you take the motorcycle..

Lucas: Trying to impress the girls?

Toby: Shut up

Lucas: Sure we can take the bike. Where's your helmet?

Toby: In the garage.

Lucas: Ok, let's go - I got the keys and we went to the garage. He put his helmet on and put his backpack on. I did the same and got on the bike. He got on after and we rode to his school.
As expected, everyone was looking when we got there, and he was loving it. - You love this - he got off the bike and took his helmet off

Toby: Thanks bro

Lucas: You keep the helmet?

Toby: Yeah

Lucas: See ya - I left and drove to school. When I got there I saw the boys. I parked the bike near Ryan's car. He came near me

Ryan: Sup bro?

Lucas: Hey man - we bro shook

Kade: What happened to the car?

Lucas: Toby - I got off the bike

Tony: He's so much like you man

Lucas: I know. So anything new?

Kade : We got some new students

Lucas: Cool. - we were walking inside

Maggie: Hey Lucas

Lucas: Hi

Maggie: I'm throwing a party on Friday. I would love to see you there

Lucas: Cool cool

Maggie: Can I count you guys in?

Lucas: You know you can - she smiled and left with her friends

Tony: You make it look too easy bro.

Lucas: Shush.. Come on - we went to class and when we got there we saw some new faces. Some old too unfortunately

Mason: Look who is here..

Lucas: Come on dude, it's the first day, don't start. - I was about to talk to the rest of the boys when I saw a girl, a new girl - Mike

Mike: Sup?

Lucas: Catch - I threw him my backpack and he put it down. I went to the new girl - Hi - she looked up

Erika: Hi

Lucas: I'm Lucas - I put my hand out

Erika: Erika - she shook it

Lucas: Nice to meet you

Erika: You too

Lucas: You're new around here

Erika: Yeah

Lucas: Where are you from?

Erika: Tennessee

Lucas: And what brings you to Connecticut?

Erika: My dad was transferred

Lucas: Cool cool - she didn't seem very interested in talking

Sunny: Lucas - I looked back and it was Sunny and Mack

Lucas: Hi ladies. Erika, Sunny and Mackenzie. Girls, Erika.

Mack: Hey

Sunny: Hi nice to meet you

Erika: You too

Mack: Do you mind? - she sat near her

Erika: Not at all - Sunny sat on the other side

Teacher: Ok guys, let's settle down. - I sat behind Mack, I saw some new people - Alright, I see some new faces - then the door opened

Jake: Sorry, I got lost - Mason and his dogs laughed

Teacher: You may sit..?

Jake: Jake

Teacher: Go ahead - he sat behind Erika, next to me, which was the only spot left - Ok so I see some new faces. What's your name?

Adam: Adam 

Teacher: And you?

Erika: Erika

Teacher: We met Jake. - he looked down - And you?

Dani: Danielle

Teacher: And?

Kalani: Kalani

Mason: The fuck is that?

Lucas: Dude!

Kalani: It's Hawaiian. Do you know where that is?

Class: Oooohhhhh

Teacher: Ok ok, maybe next time you can simply keep your mouth shut Mason. Ok! Nice to see all of you again. For the new students, welcome to our school. I'm the biology teacher.

Lucas: Sometimes - we all laughed

Teacher: Well, I'm not gonna keep you guys any longer. For the new students, if you need anything, this is my classroom. See you guys tomorrow.

We left the classroom. We went to the cafeteria and everyone kinda followed.

Lucas: Mrs Greta!

Mrs Greta: Hi darling. How was summer?

Tony: Short

Mrs Greta: 2 months isn't enough?

Ryan: Meh

Lucas: Can I have a toast and a black coffee? - I gave her the money

Mrs Greta: Right away

Everyone was there, including the new students, all besides Jake. The new girls were all in a table

Lucas: Hi

Kalani: Hey

Lucas: So it's Erika, Danielle and Kalani right?

Dani: Yep

Lucas: Quick presentation, I'm Lucas.  Those two taking pictures are Megan and Alissa, careful. Those three going outside are Mason, Joe and Frank. Those three with the soccer ball Johnny, Josh and Ryan. That's Kade talking with Mackenzie. Mike and Tony talking with Sunny and Chloe and yeah. That's it. There's the two new guys, Adam is there and I don't know where Jake is.

Dani: Thanks

Kalani: And nice to meet you - I smiled

Lucas: Well, if you need anything, don't hesitate. - I was going back to get my toast when I heard a noise outside...
