Jade Aurora
I run a hand through my hair as I skim the textbook with Frigga. "This is easier than I thought." I mused, looking up at Frigga. She smiled at me, patting the top of my hand "And it should. You have deep roots in magic on your mothers side. They were all master sorcerers, and your father is quite talented."
I close the book and ask "What was my mother like? Father doesn't speak of her often." Frigga sighed, as if she was remembering Valerie. "Val was beautiful, graceful, kind and could never harm an innocent soul. She was perfect for Loki. They were madly in love. Loki has been watching over you for years, worried for you."
I bite my lip, drumming my fingers on the phone Tony had given me. "Grandmother, I have killed many innocent, I don't remember most of my childhood, I don't remember my adopted brother. How can I honor Val with a gushing ledger like that?"
Frigga produced a book and set it on the table "I can help restore you to your natural healthy state. But memories are very hard to repair. Your mother was the only one I've seen accomplish this successfully. They may return easily on Midgard since you've lived most of your life there. But I will perform the health spell."
She held her hands to my chest and closed her eyes. I could see the light shifting in bright colors around her. My body was becoming stronger, I could feel my scars fade into white lines. My state became nearly perfect in a matter of seconds. She finished and pulled away from me a smile on her face "That should do it. You are now as strong as any other Asgardian. But you'll have to gain the weight back yourself."
I smiled brightly and hugged her "Thank you so much! Now I won't faint all the time! And I can walk as far as I want with out tiring out!" Frigga laughs, waving it off "Simple spell darling. And you deserved it. You've been through so much." I hugged her once more.
I felt my phone vibrate under my hand and I saw it was a FaceTime request from Tony. I smiled and answered it "Tony!" I saw his smiling face along with Sam and Bucky. Frigga looked at the phone, confused "How are those men inside that box?"
I took Friggas hand and said "This is a phone. You can speak to to people far away through it. These are my friends on Earth. Tony, Sam and Bucky." Frigga smiled at them "Greetings Midgardians."
I look back to the guys "Guys, this is my grandmother Frigga. The queen of Asgard." Tony waves, winking at me "She doesn't look a day over forty." I stand up, rolling my eyes "Might we continue this later Grandmother? I need to find Steve."
Frigga nods pointing to the east wing. "Steven is with Thor and Loki in the lounge." I smile at her "Thank you again." and head off to find Steve. "So how's Asgard?" Bucky asks, taking the phone from Tony.
"Great. It's beautiful here." Sam leans over his shoulder and asks "How's your health?" I hold the phone out so they could see my body "Ive only passed out twice. I have filled out a lot. Gained 18 pounds in the two days I've been here."
They all whistled. "You're wearing a pink dress!!! I can't believe it!" Tony cried out. I roll my eyes, my heels tapping on the floor as I walked "I am a princess here. I can't exactly wear jeans."
Tony shrugged, making a joking face "Touché." I reached the lounge and saw Steve chatting with Thor and Loki. "Afternoon gentlemen." I said as I strolled in. Steve smiled "Hey Jade." I smile, holding the phone up "The guys called, thought you might want to chat."
I hand him the phone and he starts talking with them "Hey guys. What's up?" I tuned out and turned to Thor and Loki. "Hi guys." Loki smiled kindly "How are you feeling?" I twirled around in a circle "I feel amazing. Frigga healed me with a spell. I am almost my physical self again!"
Loki hugged me, kissing my cheek "I am happy for you Aurora. You'll be your old self in no more than a month. You just need proper care." I lean my head on his shoulder and intake Steve joking around on the phone with the guys. "That's good," I started. "because I really miss her."
