3rd Person POV
Back at his hotel room that night, Shuichi got a call from his uncle to take a hiatus from the case- at least for now- and begin packing for his return to Tokyo. But as he packed, Shuichi's mind was elsewhere. His mind stayed in the moments of his lips colliding with the phantom thief's. The feeling of the thief's tongue exploring his mouth. And the spark he felt as it all happened. He didn't want to think about it- he wanted to run from his feelings for as long as possible- but he couldn't help it. The euphoria that came with the whole situation took over his mind. So he thought about it while packing. And on the drive to the airport. And every second of his 14 hour flight back to Tokyo. And in the cab ride home, while half asleep from the exhaustion that came with traveling.
Upon arriving at home, Shuichi burst through the door of his apartment- dumping his luggage onto the floor- and throwing himself onto his bed. Tired was an understatement for what he was feeling, so it didn't take long at all for him to fall asleep.*Timeskip*
Shuichi's POV
I woke up to cold air flooding into my apartment, coming from my window. Still half asleep, I thought I was dreaming- but as I slowly opened my eyes I realized that the window was, in fact, wide open. I didn't remember opening it, and my heart began beating quickly. Had someone broken into my apartment?
I tried to move to turn on the lights, since it was pitch dark (except for the moonlight flooding through the window) but before I could I saw a figure standing in the corner of my room. I heard myself scream like a little girl, and step backwards, falling onto my bed- before I could make out who this figure was. And of course, it was the phantom thief himself. How did he even find out where I live-
"O-Oh," I heard myself say, "I-It's just you-"
"What, disappointed? Boohoo," he said, walking closer to me, "I see we meet again, Detective Saihara."
"It a-appears we have-"
Although I couldn't see him well, I could feel his eyes on me. I felt nervous.
"I know you don't like me- we're sworn enemies- but," he began, "You seem to really like my lips, huh Shuichi?"
My mouth opened but words didn't come out.
"You were so desperate to see me again, so here I am. What happens next is up to you."
I felt myself slowly standing up. I needed that feeling again- I needed it-
I stepped towards him and grabbed his upper arms with my hands.
"Please just-" I began, but he cut me off by kissing me.--Word count: 472--
