After school, I went to Sam's house. I was lucky enough to have history and literature with him. I loved history but literature was so boring! Sam on the other hand hated history. I loved it because well... I always had the best grades and I just loved learning about past events.

As we walked through the door, we threw our bags on the floor and went to sit at the kitchen island and opened our books. Tessa was probably out with the family because I hadn't received a warm greeting from her like I normally get. A few seconds after I opened my notes, Sam got up and started moving around in the kitchen, making snacks. He was the sweetest but also the most distracted person I knew! He couldn't stay in the same place for more than 3 minutes!

"So! What does it say?" He asked me as he pointed to my notes.

"It says... to sit your ass down next to me so I don't end up doing all the research." I replied with a grin.

"Fine! Fine, I just know how snacky you get when you study..." he said, sliding a plate with a sandwich in front of me.

"Thank you! You are forgiven!" I said innocently smiling as I did a quick spin on my chair.

After half an hour, my mind started drifting to our childhood.
I remembered back when Sam, Harry and I would play hide and seek. They would always suck at it because when it came my turn to count, they would either tell me where the other one was or start giggling as I came closer. Of course I had the best hideouts! But Tom would always cheat by telling them where I was and then the twins would either scare me or tickle me to death! He was so annoying!

"Em? Yo! Emily?!", screamed Sam as he waved his hand in front of my face, waking me and bringing me back to reality.

"What were you thinking about?" Asked Sam with a soft curious smile painted on his face.

"Just our childhood", I said while taking a bite of my sandwich.

"Wow! Deep thoughts..." Sam mocked me while squinting his eyes and rubbing his chin, trying to look wise.

"Shut up!" I said pushing him a little. "So did you find what was the name of the American boat that the Germans sank?" I asked Sam.

"Yope! While you were daydreaming and I was doing research..." he said looking at me with wide eyes and leaning closer, which made me push him one more time, " I found out that it was named: Lusitania!"

"Wait! I saw that name in here! So the boat was sunk and it was considered a tragic event because the boat was "innocently" travelling on the river as a non-military boat during the war, but then later we found out that they were actually carrying multiple arms which caused the explosion to be 2 times bigger! Huh! Interesting!"

"Yea... we really don't have the same definition of interesting" he said laughing at me and at my passion for history.

I loved history, but it wasn't something that I really wanted to do with the rest of my life. I honestly always loved cinema. Which is, I know, a really hard industry to enter, but, hey! can't blame a girl for dreaming right? Sam on the other hand, had already planned his futur. He would graduate culinary school, open his own restaurant and get 3 Michelin stars for his incredible talents! (The guy basically wants, for those who don't know what Michelin stars are, an Oscar in the culinary world!) So while my best friend had his life mapped out, I was here, clueless of what to do, only knowing how much I loved writing and editing, but not knowing if I truly had what it took to make a life with it...

"Hey Sam do you know where my charger is? I can't— ohhhh... Hi Baby. What are you doing here?" Tom said with a smirk on his face while coming into the kitchen. God I hate him!

"What do you want Bug-Boy?" I returned the smirk knowing he hated that nickname.

"I thought I told you not to call me that..." he said, coming closer to me with a serious face.

"And I thought I told you to stop calling me Baby! I'm 21 for fuck sakes!" I said looking at him dead in the eyes, while a small smile took form on his thin rosy lips.

"Will you two shut up please? Tom, you gotta stop losing your charger! It's the fourth time in two weeks! I'll go find it for you because you are obviously blind!" Said Sam.

As Sam left the room and climbed the stairs to go search Tom's charger, I turned back my chair to my notes on the counter.
I could feel Tom still staring at me. I looked back to meet his eyes. He was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, looking up and down at me, while he mentally undressed me. His stare was intimidating.

" What!?" I said with an annoyed tone.

"Nothing, you just look good" he said while leaning his head back on the wall which made my eyes wander to his sharp jawline down to his neck...

"Was that a compliment?" I asked with a mischievous grin.

He didn't say anything. He just stood there, still looking at my body. I couldn't help but look at his muscular arms... the definition of his veins going down to his strong hands... oh what he could do with these ha— wait no!

I turned around and looked back at my notes trying unsuccessfully to find what I was reading and hide my flustered face from Tom. I could feel him walking towards me, making me turn around one more time to find Tom standing right in front of me. As he approached closer to me, my legs, which were already a bit opened due to how I was sitting, widened as he stood between them. Inches away from my face I felt my body tremble at his intense, lustful stare. I gulped as he leaned on the counter, resting his arms on the marble, blocking each of my sides, towering over me. As I was at the edge of my seat I could feel him pressuring himself against my inner thighs. A light moan left my mouth as he leaned slowly his head down to my neck. Sending chills down my back as his warm breath hit my skin... I couldn't help but to tightly hold the back of my chair as my back slowly arched. I could feel his lips gently graze my ear while he whispered with a hungry yet calm, deep voice: "Is something wrong... Baby..?" For once these words made me feel so warm that I was speechless, leaving my mouth open and my eyes closed as I tried controlling my breathing. Tom brushed his lips to my cheek now looking at me as he was hovering over my body. I opened my eyes looking into his deep brown eyes, making me feel weak between my legs as he was still pushing against me.

"Found it! Told you mate! You are so blind! It was under your bed!", screamed Sam while leaving Tom's room and running down the stairs.

Tom quickly removed himself from me and turned his back to me, facing Sam and taking his charger.

"Thanks mate..." he said as he left the room and went upstairs, never looking back at me.

I was still shaking. Unable to move or change my facial  expression still in shock from the effect that Tom had on me seconds ago.

"Emily you good?" Sam asked as he came closer to me.

"What!? Yea! Hmmm actually... I gotta go sorry. I ummm I gotta go check up on my parents." I said as I stood up trying to find my balance, still dizzy from the heat of the moment with Tom.

"Em? Your parents are in Thailand... you sure you're good?" Said Sam with a curious and worried look on his face.

"Ya, um I meant check up on Nigel! I'll talk to you later!" I said as I shut the door behind me. I leaned back on the door, trying to catch my breath and started walking home.

What the fuck was that?
