"I got you girls the mango flavored Bacardi!" Jack announced as he stepped foot into his house, earning a few cheerful yells from the girls in the living room.

It had been around four months ago since Corbyn broke up with Zara. The blonde was miserable in the first few weeks, non stop crying while shielded from everyone underneath the sheets as she lay in bed. She rarely came outside, made up excuses as to why she couldn't come to work and she would dodge every single gathering where his name would fall or where she knew he was going to be present.

He had texted her a few times to make sure she was taking care of herself, but she didn't bother responding. He didn't want to be together anymore, and Zara found it hard to pretend she was okay with being vague friends. She didn't want to be his friend, the girl was obviously still in love with Corbyn after everything they'd been through.

Harley and Jack took turns to make sure Zara would come out of bed to eat something, or when she felt like a train wreck, they'd come upstairs to bring her some dinner. Zara was Harley's best friend and it hurt the brunette to see her older friend so broken and sad, so whenever she felt like Zara needed company, she'd stay over in the spare room to make sure Zara would have a good nights rest.

Slowly, Zara started to realize that being sad about someone that probably wasn't even sad about her was a waste of her time. It caused the girl to go back to working shifts at the hospital to take her mind off things, and whenever she felt like, Harley and her would invite the other girls to hang out and get shitfaced while playing board games.

Tonight was one of those nights, and Jack insisted on getting the girls their drinks and snacks because he was glad Zara was doing much better than all of those weeks ago. It hurt him to see one of his best friends so hurt, and he found it hard to be around Corbyn without blaming him as the cause of her heartbreak. Corbyn would occasionally slip in a question about Zara, but Jack would dodge it for the hell of it. He told his friend it would be best for both of them to just have some time for themselves, and Corbyn texting her without getting an answer must've been an answer by itself too.

"I went to three different stores because your stupid candy was out of stock nearly everywhere," He whined, throwing the bag of strawberry flavored sweets into Zara's lap, earning a cheer from the blonde as she opened the plastic and took a few out to pop them in her mouth. She thanked Jack, who eventually made his way upstairs to have the girls enjoy their girls night.

"You know she's going to finish that bag within two hours," Amelia snickered as she got back into the living room with a few red cups and a bottle of Sprite to mix the Bacardi with. "Alright, so Eden isn't able to come because Zach is finally taking her out for a fancy dinner tonight."

Zara looked up from where she was swirling her straw around her freshly poured drink, "Shit- fucking finally. Took him long enough."

"I agree!" Jules spoke up from where she was laying on the floor with her laptop resting on her lap, back against the couch as she updated their conjoint girl anthem playlist. "What do we think about the new songs, girls?"

All of the girls shot each other looks, because they all knew Jules was talking about particular songs Zara didn't want to hear about. The blonde seemed to catch up on her friends being quiet, a frown prominent on her face, "Okay, listen up bitches," She started, "If y'all wanna talk about their new album, you can. I haven't listened to it yet, but I'm sure it's a work of art. I don't mind, it's okay."

Sure, Zara had heard snippets of songs whenever she was at the studio, and when Fallin' came out as their new single, she was extremely excited to hear the rest of the album. Now that it was out for nearly two months, the blonde didn't really bother. She wanted to support her friends, but they all understood hearing her ex-boyfriend sing love songs must've been something she'd rather avoid.
