This is when Lucifer leaves for hell at the end of Season 4. The first italic paragraph you will read is all credits to the creators of Lucifer as it is used from Season 4 Episode 10 and is word for word. Didn't put the whole bit in there just the hurtful parts I'm sorry

Lucifer was gone. He was really gone.
Chloe was still standing there as Lucifer had left.

"So you know it's over...Isn't it? Is it over?"
"I'd say yes detective but I'd be lying.  And we both know I don't do that"

"I see, so what are you saying-"
"I have to go back"
"So for how long a couple weeks or a month or-"

"No. No no. No, see this- this is, this is what I meant Lucifer, when I see you- you can't leave me"

"Please don't go I-I love you. I love you please don't leave"

"My first love was never Eve. It was you Chloe, it always has been"

"Please don't go"
"Goodbye"

Chloe kept playing what happened mere minutes ago through her head. He left. Again. But this was permanent. Tears kept streaming down her face and she just couldn't stop them. Chloe looked up, the down towards the ground before collapsing to her knees.
"Lucifer"
Chloe's voice barely audible.
"Why. Why did you leave me?"

*months later*
Chloe was sitting at her desk tapping a pencil mindlessly on her pile of cases.
Lucifer you feathered idiot, why am I still thinking about you? It's been months. I'm starting to doubt your return.
Chloe let out a sigh. She had heaps of paperwork to do. She could almost hear her partner telling her paperwork is boring. Almost.

Lucifer sat upon his throne in hell. Lost in his thoughts of Chloe. Many a demon had tried to gain his attention but each had failed. Every now and again Lucifer heard her voice in his head. Lucifer swore he was imagining it. He had gone mad, he was torturing himself that's all.
Chloe I am sorry.

"Chloe."
Dan's voice gained her attention.
"Are you alright?"
Dan knew the answer and he also knew why.
"Yeah, Dan I'm fine. I'll be fine."
Dan shook his head at Chloe's answer.
"Chlo- we both know your not fine. I know it's about Lucifer. I'm sorry, that he left, that I can't do anything fix it."
"Dan it's not your fault."
Chloe I am sorry.
It was his voice.
"I-I have to go. I'll see you later."
Chloe left her desk and headed to the rest room.
Am I crazy? I hear your voice but your not around.

Lucifer heard Chloe's voice reply to his own thoughts. He was defintly going crazy.
You? Chloe you are not crazy. I'm talking to myself. Well thinking to myself and hearing your voice. I'm the crazy one.
Lucifer sighed. He really was torturing himself.
Lucifer? I- But I hear your voice like your here next to me but your in hell.
Lucifer was so confused. He had never had an actual conversation with Chloe in his head before.
It's stupid to be thinking about you Chloe. I can't come back. Hell tortures those who are guilty and I can't leave. I'm stuck here with my own guilt.

Chloe started sobbing. She tried to be quiet so nobody asks questions. She heard the door open.
"Hey Chloe, you in here?"
Count on Ella to be worried and hunt her down. Chloe unlocked her door and stepped out of the cubicle. Tears running down her face. She saw herself in the mirror, she looked terrible. Ella hugged Chloe.
"Aw Decker. Everything is going to be alright. I promise."
Chloe had enough.
"You know what Ella? It's not going to be alright! Lucifer left. He left me! Again. That's not alright. I wish I could go down to hell and strangle him. Stupid devil. I hate you Lucifer!"
Chloe let it all out, she rambled on to Ella. Who stood there and took it.
"Decker, we are gonna hunt Lucifer down and send him to hell."
"About that- he's already in hell."
Confusion swept across Ella's face.
"What did you say?"
"Lucifer. Is in hell. He is the devil. It is all true. He doesn't lie."
"Nah, your just upset Chloe. Come on."

I hate you Lucifer.
Lucifer was just thinking of coming back. But his mind clearly didn't want him to come back. I have to come back, for Chloe.
Lucifer stood up. He wasn't going to argue with his mind anymore.

Chloe was leaving the restroom with Ella when she saw somebody at her desk. It can't be. Ella recognised him and ran up to the man sitting at Chloe's desk, wrapping him in a hug that he squirmed out of. Yup definetly Lucifer. He looked up and saw Chloe. She's even more beautiful then I remember. Lucifer's voice played in her head. What? Lucifer walked towards Chloe stopping in front of her.
"You. With me now."
Chloe didn't take no for an answer and she grabbed Lucifer's sleeve and dragged him into a private room.
"You left!"
"Detective- Chloe. I am really sorry. I had to."
"You hurt me!"
You hurt her, see what you did Lucifer? She isn't going to forgive you.
Why should she forgive you?
I love her, I had to protect her.
Protect her, sure!
Chloe stared at Lucifer.
"L-Lucifer?"
The devil looked up from the ground and into Chloe's eyes. Chloe saw so much pain hiding behind them.
Oh Lucifer!
Chloe?
They gave each other confused looks.
Can you read my mind?
Chloe thought a question. Lucifer looked down at the ground.
I hurt you. This is my fault. May be I should have stayed in hell.
Chloe lifted Lucifer's chin to make him look into her eyes.
"I don't want you to be in hell Lucifer."
Lucifer sighed.
I'm sorry.
Lucifer closed his eyes. Chloe thought he was about to disappear into thin air so she grasped onto him tight.
"No Lucifer!"
Chloe held on to Lucifer with one hand, using her other to bring his face to hers. She kissed him.
I love you Chloe.
Chloe pulled away for a second.
"I love you Lucifer,"
She wrapped both arms around his neck and kissed him passionately. Not letting him escape from her grasp. He was hesitant at first but saw in Chloe's mind that all she wanted was for him to stay. So Lucifer wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her back. Pushing away the negative thoughts and filling his mind with new and happier thoughts of Chloe. Chloe smiled at Lucifer's new track of mind.
You're mine now Lucifer.
I'm happy with that.
They both laughed lightly.
