Hey guys okay sooo I haven't updated in what feels like forever and I'm so sorry about that.

So I've been really sick since the last week of March, it's May 1st rn.

I'm typing this all at midnight.

At first it started off as just a normal sinus cold because of how the weather was changing so many fucking times.

From hot to cold to hot again to cold rain to hot asf out then back to winter coats.

Ahh Canada gotta love it.

Anyways, it was pretty normal and I was like it'll go away in like three days.

Boy was I wrong.

So then 5 days ago, I started getting this really bad cough so at 4:30am I ended up going to the hospital cause it just seemed to be getting worse as time went by.

I went and the dr was like "oh you've got a chest infection, here's some antibiotics and we're gonna do a covid test."

I'm like alright let's do it.

It came back negative (I don't leave my house really, only to go to work) so I was like yeah I know I don't have it but lets test.

And so I took the meds they gave me and I seemed to get even worse.

Two days later, late at night I started having trouble breathing and I was struggling to even catch my breath.

At this point I haven't slept properly in like a week and a half. I maybe got 10 hours or so with small 30 minute naps here and there during the day when my coughing stopped for a small amount of time and I could kinda breath again.

My mom was scared for me when I napped or slept at all because as I was sleeping she could see my chest struggling to breath as it went up and down shaky asf.

These past few times I've been sleeping on the couch cause laying down made it worse.

Anyways so my mom left for work at 3:30am and my dad came home around that time from work so he went to bed.

Around 5:30 I was sitting at the kitchen table trying not to cry because that just makes breathing even harder for me.

So I grab my phone and I Snapchat and text everyone who I think is gonna be up at this point.

I finally reach my cousin who was sober (I was shocked tbh) and was always awake because her (not) boyfriend had gotten up at 5 to go to work.

He doesn't actually live with we, he's staying at a hotel cause he's from Saskatchewan, only here for work with his dad or something.

Anyways.

So I'm like "Kar, can you come get me and take me to the hospital."

I can't drive, I only have my G1 (my beginners) so I can't drive alone yet.

So she's like hell yeah I'll be there in like 6 minutes.

So I grab all the things I'll need, my health card, my medicine I'm on now, my winter coat (fuck the weather), my phone, house keys, bank cards, (all my importants cards are on my house keychain) and I put my coat and keys and stuff on the couch as I wait for her to show up.

She finally shows up and it takes me five minutes to get into her car. It shouldn't even take me a minute.

Two of those minutes I was hanging out of her car door trying to catch my breath.

It was so bad.

So we drove to the hospital and she keeps giving me worried looks and I didn't even out my seatbelt on cause I was a red it was gonna constrict my breathing even more.
