House Hunters

"You do know where you're going right?" Arthur asks and Merlin sighs for what feels like the hundredth time.

"Yes. For the last time Arthur." He says wishing he could throw Arthur back into the lake just for the time being.

Holly snickers from behind them. Merlin follows the GSP to where the house is there going to be looking at. Lilith is sleeping beside Holly in the back under a blanket.

They follow the back roads and bends and they find themselves in the middle of nowhere which is what there looking for.

After driving for awhile Merlin finally sees a huge house in the distance and smiles. The house is huge. It's like an old farm house with the wrap around porch and all. It's got a barn in the back and is surrounded by woods which is good for Lilith.

They pull up and go down the drive and see a car already there and a lady standing near it typing away on her phone.

Merlin notices it first but then he feels Arthur tense up next him telling he's seen it to.

There's a lake not far from the house. Both seem to have mutual understanding about it and how they feel.

Merlin parks the car and they all get out. Merlin looks in the back as Lilith peeks her eyes out. "Stay." He says and locks and closes the doors. Not before leaving the windows down a little for her obviously.

They walk over and Arthur stands close to him and Holly right behind them. "Hello?" Merlin says coming closer to the lady.

She looks up and smiles. "Hello. I'm Casey." She says holding her hand out for them to shake. Merlin shakes it smiling and then Arthur does the same and Holly does as well. "Well I'll show you around. No one has bought the house because of how much money there asking for it." She explains as they walk towards the house.

"Um you never said it was by a lake." Arthur pipes up for the first time startling Casey. She turns and blinks at him and her cheeks go pink.

"Ah yes. I didn't add it in because at the time it was put up the lake wasn't part of it." She explains and Holly just shrugs when Arthur looks at her.

"Which lake is it?" Merlin asks still getting an odd vibe from it.

She looks over her shoulder at Merlin and smiles. "I actually looked it up, wondering if anyone would ask that question. It's lake Avalon."

Well fuck alright.

He shares a look with Arthur.

Casey walks them through the house and shows them the rooms and the kitchen and everything else. It's got a huge basement and lots of storage rooms. Enough bedrooms for them to have guests over (Gwain). The back yard is basically the woods and the lake. They stop in the kitchen again and Casey smiles at them.

"I'll leave you guys to chat about it and I'll be outside waiting for your answer." She says heading back outside.

"Well? What do you two think?" Merlin asks.

"I really enjoy it. It's not as big as the castle but it'll do." Arthur says and Merlin narrows his eyes.

"No shit Sherlock." Merlin says rolling his eyes and Arthur looks confused.

"My names Arthur. You'd think you'd remember it by now Merlin. Who's Sherlock?" Arthur says Merlin groans before smacking his head on the island in the middle of the kitchen and Holly laughs. Arthur shakes his head confused on who Sherlock is..

"I think we kinda have no choice on the matter."

They both look at Holly. She shrugs. "Have you seen how big Lilith is and how fast she's growing?"
