"Ask your boyfriend why he couldn't be here with you. I'm not even your boyfriend let alone friend and I'm here. I'm done talking about him." I was done talking about him so I walked away. Sure enough she followed.

"Why, are you so mad?" She asked me, grabbing my hand and pulling me back. I turned around and pushed her against the wall. I didn't know any other way to say it. But to just say it.

"You wanna know why I'm mad?" She pathetically nodded her head. "You love him. Not me. Him. You put him on a pedestal. I love you. But does that matter? No." I was getting pissed.

I cut her of by wrapping my hands around her waist and kissing her. A part of me felt alive again. She pulled me in closer allowing me to know she wanted this too. I wanted this kiss to never end. She licked my lips, and I opened my mouth. Our tongues did their foreign dance with each other. This was all we wanted. We didn't need oxygen. I needed Tyra and she needed me. We heard the elevator ding, but we didn't care. Let people watch. This was truly the kiss of a lifetime.

"Woooooow, really!" I heard from the elevator. It was Marco. A grin swept across my face. Payback is a mother..

"Marco, I'm sorry," she tried to walk to him but I refused to let her go.

"T, don't apologize."

"Nah, she should apologize. You in here kissing him and you supposed to be my girl."

"Yea, she your girl, but you creeping with Naomi.Thats why you weren't here last night." At first I wasn't going to tell Tyra, but dude was sitting here getting mad over a kiss when he fucking girls behind her back. When I called last night, I could hear him fucking someone. Naomi, being a hoe,answered the phone and I could hear everything. Her moaning his name, him smacking her ass and him telling Naomi that he loved her.

"Is this true Marco?" Tyra yelled trying to walk over to him. I was holding her back because I knew how she felt about him. Her being hurt ain't good for him right now. Tyra got a mean left and a wicked right.

"Look, you said you wanted to wait til you got married. I respect that, but I got needs. You don't wanna have sex with me so out of respect I had sex with someone else. But you could kiss me all day. Yet, you kissing him." Marco said rubbing the back of his head. Nah, this dude ain't about to sit here and play innocent. I let go of Tyra and she just stood there. I ran full speed towards him and pushed him to the ground. I then repeatedly punched him in the face.

"She deserves better." I kept yelling while punching him. His face was covered with blood and so were my fist. At first he tried to fight back but there really was no point.

"Carnell stop, please" Tyra was behind me rubbing my shoulder. " It's okay just stop. Please." For her I stopped and got off of Marco. He rolled over and spat out a whole bunch of blood. Tyra ran to the nurses station and got help for him. They carried him to a room and I just looked at my hands.

I made someone's face bleed. I didn't feel good, yet I didn't feel bad. He got what he deserved. I went to wash my hands, when Tyra grabbed my arm.

"Look, I'm sorry for beating up your boyfriend. I know we not that close anymore but what he was saying pissed me off." I told her looking into her eyes. They were filled with so much sadness.

"Shutup, and kiss me." She said in a whisper before attacking my lips. It was as if my lips gave her life. Instantly her eyes looked happy. I didn't want to break this kiss ever.

"I've been outside all this time and Yall in here sucking faces?"

"Momma," Tyra said, face red with embarrassment.

"Girl hush, I'm glad Yall two talking to each other again. Now come on. Movie day on me." She walked into the elevator and we followed. We told her everything about Marco and she shook her head. She couldn't believe it. Of course she didn't want it to work but no mother wants to hear how her daughter got her heart broken. We ended up watching a lot of chick flicks but I didn't mind. I had my best friend back.
