Kyle opened the envelope with trembling hands, and felt the texture of the necklace. He suddenly got teary-eyed, as he started remembering memories of Evelyn. He touched the necklace, and mouthed "Evelyn". Evelyn. What had happened to Evelyn after all these years? After Kyle left with Secretary Erica, Evelyn developed depression and began to resent him for leaving her alone. One year later, at the restaurant, Evelyn met an eighteen-year old woman named Laura Martinez. Laura has had some past trauma of her own. She was the daughter of a young office worker and her rich sugar daddy. Shortly after her birth, her father disowned her, and handed a sum of money to her mother. Her mother used up all the money for gambling and alcohol, and she was quite abusive to Laura. Laura's dream was to become a famous actress, and she was able to successfully land an acting debut as a child actress at the age of seventeen all by herself. She and her co-star started dating, but eventually he left her for another woman. A few days later, Laura came to know that she was pregnant, but the shock that her boyfriend cheated on her caused her to faint and have a miscarriage. After her mother found out that her daughter was pregnant, she kicked her out of the house. Laura shared her story with Evelyn, and quickly a sisterly bond was formed. 

Over a period of four years, Laura's popularity as an actress grew, and she became famous and rich. She adopted Evelyn as her sister, who, coincidentally, was also a student at Harvard University, like Kyle. Evelyn had changed too. The old Evelyn was meek, shy, and quiet. The new Evelyn was haughty and arrogant. Evelyn had matured into a beautiful woman. She had perfect body proportions, and was very curvaceous. Her face was also extremely gorgeous, and all the guys would fall for her at first sight. Evelyn was beyond excited to attend Harvard University, as she was hoping to learn and move toward her dream of becoming a successful businesswoman. She waved back at her sister as she arrived at Harvard University for her college orientation. She was looking pretty in her new outfit, and she flipped her long, brown hair as she walked confidently to the business major college orientation registration desk. After signing up her name, she proceeded to walk away, but she tripped on a stone. As she thought she was falling, a handsome stranger caught her in his arms. 

As Evelyn regained her balance, she decided to see who her handsome savior was. As she peered into his eyes, she stuttered in disbelief, "K-kyle?"
