After they reached the hospital, Evelyn was quickly rushed to the ICU. It pained Kyle to see Evelyn like that, and he was determined to avenge her. He checked his phone, and noticed that he had received the picture of the car plate via AirDrop. As he examined the picture, he realized it seemed familiar. He said in disbelief, "This car....it belongs to Liam?" Kyle became furious. Out of all the people in the world, he never expected his own brother to be involved in a hit-and-run and he was more furious that his own brother caused the accident of his girlfriend. Kyle immediately called Liam, but he didn't pick up the call. Kyle was so angry that he left the hospital and drove to Liam's apartment. He kept ringing on the doorbell, when Liam's neighbor saw him. "He's not here," said the neighbor as Kyle pounded his fists against the door in rage. "That bastard," Kyle muttered under his breath. Next, he drove to his parents' mansion. When he came home, he was welcomed by the servants and his parents were glad to see him. He looked for Liam, and was irked to see him nonchalantly playing checkers with Gianna. 

Kyle immediately grabbed Liam by the collar. "You jerk, how dare you?" Liam was very confused and said, "Yo, what's wrong with you?" Liam pushed Kyle away, and he accidentally fell on the ground. Kyle was immensely upset, and he got back up and he punched Liam in the face. Now, Liam was angry too. And Liam had major anger issues. He punched Kyle back, and sooner or later, they were fighting each other. Gianna noticed this and she immediately went and informed her parents. Her parents came running, and they were shocked to see their sons fighting each other. Liam had a bloody nose, and Kyle had bruises all over his face. "What the hell is wrong with you both?" hollered their mom. Liam was still angry, and he proceeded to hit Kyle with a baseball bat. His father came over and threw the bat on the ground and slapped Liam across the face. "You brat! Why the hell are you fighting your brother?" he asked. "Dad, he started it. He came home and grabbed my collar and started barking at me. Why the fuck are you yelling at me?" Liam yelled. "Kyle. Why did you do that?" his mother asked him. 

"Because he hit someone with his car," said Kyle. His parents, Gianna, and Liam were all shocked. Liam grabbed Kyle by the collar and said, "How can you spew nonsense like that? Why would I do something like that?" Kyle replied, "I don't know why you would do something like that. But you did it and I have proof." Liam's jaw dropped, because he didn't know that someone saw his hit-and-run. "W-w-where is it? Sh-sh-show me!" Liam stuttered. Kyle pulled out his phone and showed his entire family the video of Liam hitting and running the car over Evelyn, as well as the picture of his car plate. "No, this is not true! Not true!" Liam whined. His father slapped him across the face again. "You bastard! I'm so ashamed of you. It's our fault we didn't raise you right," he said. Kyle said, "Now, Liam, here's what I want you to do. You're going to go confess to the police that it was you, and accept the punishment. I don't care one slight bit about your reputation getting tarnished." His mother said, "Hey Kyle, why can't we just settle this with money? The stocks will go down if they find out Liam was in a hit-and-run. Think about it, he's your brother. We'll give a hefty sum of money to the victim. Why can't we pretend it never happened?" "Pretend it never happened? But it's my girlfriend who's in the ICU!" he yelled and stormed out of the room. Liam was feeling guilty now and his father started reprimanding him. His mother sighed and walked out of the room with Gianna. 

Kyle drove back to the hospital. He asked the nurse how Evelyn was doing. The nurse cheerfully said, "You can say it was a miracle, but she made it! Her vitals are stable, and there's no damage to her internal organs! She has a ruptured tendon and a sprained ankle, but the doctor will talk to you more about that. You may go visit her now."  Kyle felt extremely relieved and happy. He went to visit Evelyn. With tears in his eyes, he said, "I love you." At the sight of Kyle, she weakly smiled.
