Eventually, Laura got tired of Liam constantly asking her to date him. So, one day, she said to Liam, "Liam, let's date." Liam asked her, "Are you serious?" "Yes, so I can prove to you that we are incompatible," replied Laura. Laura flipped her hair, and got into the cab as she waved at Liam. Liam was shocked that Laura only agreed to date him, because she wanted to prove to him that they weren't meant to be. He was angry that she was playing hard to get, because all of the women he had briefly dated couldn't resist him. Although he was not 100% over his ex-girlfriend, he still felt something special with Laura. As he became good friends with Laura, he realized that she was important in his life, and he began to fall in love with her. Now that she had agreed to test out their relationship, Liam decided to come up with a master plan to get her to fall in love with him. 

But he did not know who to ask. His friends were all playboys, like him. His brother was dating someone for the very first time, and his sister had an unrequited crush on her classmate. No one in his close circle were experienced in love. He didn't want to get ideas from the Internet, because they were all cliché. At last, he came up with an idea. In the morning, he took her out shopping and said, "Choose anything you like. It's on me." Laura told him, "There's no need. I can buy things with my own money." Liam replied, "Laura, I'm inviting you to splurge. You can get anything you want. Yes, you have money, but I'm the man here. The man is supposed to pay." Laura asked him, "What?" Liam said, "Yes! Don't you know the standard? The man is responsible for making the money and the woman is responsible for childbearing, housework, and all that. I'm offering to pay here, so accept my offer!" Laura rolled her eyes and scoffed, "Shut the hell up, you misogynistic prick!" Liam was confused, but he walked along with her. 

After a long day of shopping, Liam invited Laura to his apartment. Laura got the wrong idea and she got angry at Liam. She accused him of wanting to sleep with her on their first date. In response, Liam told her that they would have dinner together and watch TV, and then he would drop her off at her apartment. Although Laura was initally incredulous, she felt that he was telling her the truth, so she decided to stay over. As food was delivered at the door, he happily gushed, "We have Thai food for tonight! Yay!" He placed the food on the table and danced around. Laura rolled her eyes and said, "Relax. Stop acting like a baby. I'm gonna start eating." She picks up her fork and proceeds to eat her Pad thai noodles. "Just because you're two years older than me doesn't mean I'm a baby," whined Liam. 

After they finished eating, they decided to watch TV together. They browsed through Netflix to find a good show to watch, and found the K-drama "My Love From The Star". They were completely engrossed in the K-drama, and eventually Laura fell asleep on Liam's shoulder. Liam smiled as he glanced at a sleeping Laura, and thought to himself, 'Is this love?'. As he didn't want to wake up Laura, he let her sleep. In the morning, he cooked her some breakfast before she left his apartment. Laura realized that Liam genuinely liked her, so she decided to give him a chance. They continued to go on dates with each other, and eventually they confessed their love for each other. 

Meanwhile, Kyle and Evelyn were in a steady relationship. They had been dating each other for a year and a half, and they were still very much in love with each other. One day, Evelyn suddenly said to Kyle as they were talking by the park bench, "Babe, I want to talk to you about something. I've been thinking about this for quite some time now."
