Percy

Man, these wizards were weird. They still used quills and ink. What happened to good ol' Reynold pens? They wore itchy, uncomfortable robes and hats. How were you supposed to fight if something happened? But Harry did say that there was a giant squid in the lake. Percy couldn't wait to meet him. Or her.

Percy held Annabeth's hand tightly as they walked in the chilly evening breeze. Her blonde hair was flowing freely behind her, light glinting off the princess curls. Her cheeks were flushed pink. Her lips were a rose pink, corners turned up in a beautiful smile. Her eyes were a soft liquid silver. Her blue and silver scarf complemented her eyes so well Percy couldn't quite focus on what Annabeth was saying. Man, he thought. What the heck did I do to deserve this goddess?

"Percy!" Annabeth snapped her fingers in his face. Percy almost fell to the ground. "Were you listening to anything I was saying?"

"No.

"What were you thinking about?"

"How beautiful you are and what the heck did I do to deserve you." Percy mentally slapped himself for being so blunt. I'm already here. Might as well go off the deep end, he thought.

Percy pulled Annabeth into a kiss right there near the lake. Percy couldn't think of anything other than Annabeth. His brain felt like it was melting right through his body. All he cared about was Annabeth, and right now he was kissing her.

When he finally pulled away, both of them were gasping for breath. Her grey eyes met his and Percy wanted nothing more than to get lost in her eyes.

Percy threaded his fingers through Annabeth's and put his head on her lap. Annabeth started reading a book and unconsciously playing with Percy's hair. They stayed that way for quite some time, just enjoying each other's presence.

Percy stood up.

"Percy, where. . .?" Annabeth trailed off. "Oh. The lake."

Percy gracefully dived into the lake with hardly a splash. The squid turned out to be quite friendly. Her name was Priya. She said she used to live in the sea near India and that she'd come here for a tour and decided to stay.

Percy slowly peeked above the surface. No one else was there. Annabeth was reading something. Percy made two huge hands of water and signed, "Annie, come in please?" in ASL. He and Annabeth had made it a habit to spend half an hour a day to learn ASL. Why, neither of them knew. It just felt right.

Annabeth had seen the sign and called, "Not now, Percy!"

Now, Percy couldn't have that, could he?

Soon, Annabeth was in the water beside him. She was fuming, but he silenced her by forming a giant air bubble around them. Annabeth didn't have much time to say anything else.

A/N Hi, hi! Thank you all so much for 700 reads! Thank you to SapphireBlue1238 for voting, Blogger2007 for also voting AND commenting! I freaking love it when someone comments! Unfortunately, I have some bad news. I have my finals coming up and I won't be able to post for the next two weeks. That's why this one is not really a full chapter, more like a Percabeth one-shot, because I didn't have time to complete a chapter, so I just made it like this. I know, I'm the most evil creature to ever walk the planet, maybe after Gaia. But then she never really walked the planet because she was the planet. . . Anyway! I'm so so sorry, but I will definitely post after the two weeks. Cross my heart and hope to die (or something, because I don't know that phrase). Bye :)
