Why Can't You Love Me?

Chapter 7

ALEX'SPOV:

I looked at myself in the mirror, making sure I looked nice, but not too nice for the game. It probably sounded dumb but I had to look good for the party afterwords too!

"Ding dong ding dong ding dong ding dong." Godammit I hate that freaking doorbell.

I opened my sliding door to the small balcony thing I had in my room.

"The doors open." I yelled to Kendal who rang the doorbell. Kendal laughed and looked up to where I was.

"I should really have a key to your house." She said, I laughed.

"You do dumbshit."I said, then walked back inside my room. I heard the door close while I was putting on my makeup, then I heard footsteps walking up the stairs.

"Hey." Kendal said, while jumping to my bed. She looked good, skinny jeans, a patteren tank and her hair wavy.

I walked out of my closet, confident with my outfit. "Ready?" I asked. Kendal looked at me, and smiled.

"We're so sexy. Totally gonna get it in tonight." Kendal joked. I laughed, and we walked out to my car.

"Alex theres like a hundred spots closer to the field!" Kendal cried.  As I pulled into a perfectly good parking spot at Ocean Catholic.

"BooHoo." I said, and got out of the car.

We walked up to the bleacher, and sat down just as the annoncer guy started talking.

"And now put your hands together for the defending state champions, the Ocean Catholic Sharks!" The annoncer guy said. Kendal and I yelled along with everyone. The team ran out to the field, and warmed up.

I saw Marcus looking at us, and we waved. Marc looks so good in that uniform. Well he actually looks good in anything.

 wait no um Cedrick looks better, yeah he looks so good. I thought.

I saw Cedrick passing the football to some other guy far away from him.

The ref blew the whistle, and the captains walked out, holding hands. It supposed to be like praying.

I guess we won the toss (A/N I'm really sorry! i dont know much about football!) cause we got to catch the ball. The guy ran it to the 40 number.

"Is that Jay?" I asked Kendal. She looked closer, and nodded. Jay always flirted with Kendal, she never really showed any interest in the guy, I felt bad for him. When Jay heard about Kendal getting into a serious relationship, he started going out with everygirl in the grand state of Hawaii. He still does, but he's calmed down a lot, he's down to one girl a week. haha

We won the game, 21-17. Kendal and I stayed after for like 20 minutes for Marcus and Cedrick. Cedrick told me we were like going together, so I guess I should wait for him.

"Can you take any longer? The party probably already started." Kendal bitched to Marcus. Sibling love right here.

"You're lucky you're coming." Marcus said, putting his bag in his car. "Are you driving with Alex or me?" He asked.

"You smell, so Alex." I laughed, making Marcus look up to me smiling. I blushed.

"Kendal how many times do I have to tell you, they have showers here." Marcus said, looking back to Kendal, then started his car and backed up. "You girls know how to get there?" He said, stopping infront of us.

"No but I think Cedrick knows." I said. For a second I thought I saw anger in Marcus's eyes when I said Cedrick, but it was proabably just my mind playing tricks, its been doing that a lot with Marcus lately.
